Rainlendar

would like to find out what i need to have a desktop like this one .it is cool. help :woot:

Well, here is what I did to get into themes in WinXP.

You can get the uxtheme.dll patch from here at Neowin, just search the forums. This allows you to add additional themes that are not shipped with XP.

You can also purchase WindowBlinds (from Stardock), StyleXP (from TGTSoft), or some other theme manager. I started with the uxtheme patch.

The docks you see in the monthly desktop pages are either ObjectDock (from Stardock), YzDock, or MobyDock. There may be others, but these

are the only ones I am aware of. The weather docklets and system info you see are usually from Samurize. The calendars are usually Rainlendar.

Icons are abundant and open to your individual tastes. If you use the monthly desktop pages as starting guides and Google to search for items people

list, you should be able to create the desktop you are looking for. Neowin and other sites list links or affiliates that can help in the aquisition of desired

components. Since I am new to this, I have probably left some things out. Hopefully some of the other more qualified individuals in the forum will fill

in any spaces that I omitted.

Hope this helps a little.
