How is the battery life? I might get one to replace my desktop for college next year.

I wasn't trying to diss you, i was just stating it was high, thats all.

You must be pretty tall.

No offense taken, really :).
Yeah I feel bad for you, that monitor does look pretty crappy
It is, when I turn it on there is like 15 mins of total fuzyness and not half as sharp as my Sony, anyways - will be getting a new one soon :).
you have the same DSL modem as me.

is it really geeky that i can tell just by looking at the lights?

Speedstream 5200? If it is, are you aware of the firmware upgrade that makes it a router? :), its being used as one there, hub is behind the monitor.

:D.

yea no problem, i got them from this lady named Daisy, she has a store on ebay and online, i think shes a reseller for grado

i got the headphones for $500 and the amp for $300 from her, shipping included

although there are better amps out there for $200, i like the grado one cause its the only one that runs on battery, u can get it with AC or BATTERY but not both (two 9volt batteries, about 50+ hours on battery). plus some ac amps emit a slight hissing noise from the adapter/outlet, batteries tend to be a bit clearer.

i looked on ebay and couldnt any auctions for rs1 headphones, and i forgot her site...but heres her email: [email protected] / aim: Lilobit8

both the amp and the headphones came with a grado 1 year warranty, certification papers, box, etc.

around 3 hours, i use it mostly as a desktop replacement. oh, and 3dmark03 score on it was 2790 stock, and 2900 on stable overclocking of the video card. the only laptop as good as this in my opinion (for the price) is the compal cl56 which has same spec options, and gets 100-300 more in 3dmark03, but the screen's viewing angle sucks, ecs g556e screen is much better, although not as good as sony or fujitsi obviously.

it is an expensive case thus the monitor and the table

:p  ;)

And these tables are good for holding up Pepsi spills every night. ; ) This monitor was $450 when I was shopping for it, but Sams Club had it for $250, so that's not cheap. ; )

I have nothing more than a Zalman CNPSA-CU to cool this CPU. I sit ontop a temperature of around 115 or somewhere around that neighborhood.

Damn, it would be an expensive case wouldn't it! Sod buying that then!

Newegg has the Coolermaster Wavemaster black edition for $148

got new furniture so i moved all of my computer stuff into the living room.

stuff you see:

computer, cable modem (under shelf, next to desk. behind that is the smc router and apc ups), some ikea light, logitech cordless mx duo, logitech z2200 2.1 speaks, samsung 192n 19" LCD, tape measure, a calendar, and my recliner in the background :woot:

    • Bose QuietComfort Ultra Gen 2 headphones are down to lowest price in over a month by Taras Buria Bose's second-gen QuietComfort Ultra headphones are premium over-ear headphones with noise cancellation, but right now, you can save 16%, thanks to a discount that brought the headphones to a new lowest price in over a month. While the general look and aesthetics remain unchanged compared to the previous gen, the Gen 2 features redesigned wear-detection sensors, which accurately pause your music the moment you take them off. Additionally, the headphones now support lossless audio via a direct USB-C wired connection, letting you enjoy uncompressed sound when plugged into your laptop or phone. There is also spatial audio support (works wirelessly) for a more immersive audio experience and improved noise cancellation, which makes the QuietComfort Ultra go-to headphones for many users on long flights or other scenarios when they need to isolate themselves from the surrounding noise. The QuietComfort Ultra (Gen 2) also features Bluetooth Multipoint for seamless switching between two devices at once. As for battery life, you get up to 30 hours on a single charge (up to 23 hours when using spatial audio). Besides good audio quality and noise cancellation, the headphones should be comfortable to wear, thanks to the lightweight 250-gram design and soft protein-leather ear pads. The QuietComfort Ultra Gen 2 are available in four colors, and all five are now available at the lowest price: Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth Headphones (2nd Gen) - $379 | 16% off on Amazon This Amazon deal is US-specific and not available in other regions unless specified. • Keep in mind Intuit has lobbied like crazy to keep taxes complicated so they can continue to sell tax software. They also got caught hiding their legally mandated free version so they could release a second one that pushed countless people into charges they didn't need to pay to file. Intuit leads the charge on inventing problems so they can sell you the solution and disrespecting you in the process.
    • Oddly, there was a time that UFC games were culturally relevant, largely because of the graphics and gameplay that was different than the norm. But it seems like as the sport grew in popularity, gaming outlets stopped talking about the games.
