Post Your Workstation Photos

Is that Proliant your workstation?!

I wish, I work for an IT consulting firm and right now I am setting up a couple of Proliants, all identical, for one of our clients.

Dual 3.2 GHz XEON

2 GB RAM

6 72 GB 15000 RPM SCSI Drives

They are awesome.

My personal workstation is the Thinkpad to the left though my new T42 has been ordered:) and should arrive in a couple of weeks.

Good Lord! That must have cost them about 5 grand a piece at least.

We just ordered a new one, but it is A LOT less of a server then those.

Actually they were closer to 6, but they are maxed out.

They are running Windows 2K3 and I can say that I have never seen Windows any faster than on these beasts.

sorry to say yes:(

I work very strange hours, but so is the life of the IT pro.

The overtime does not hurt one bit, especially since I am off tomorrow and Monday.

It's 4 am here and I am abt to leave, I will probably sleep to 11 and then watch the Yankee game in the afternoon with BBQ:)

This is not bad at all, I have slept in the office on many the occasion :D

I've seen workplaces a lot worse than yours 2s2k, I'd say yours is clean.

I'll have to get my dads camera and take some pictures of my workplace, maybe this evening...

You know, keeping the reciever to your wirless products at least 8 inches away from any type of hardware will give you a better signal between your wireless product and your reciever.

Thanks everyone for the comments.... and yes - I have been lurking here for a while :ninja:

The desk is from 'Argos' of all places. If you have the latest catalog (the Argos Extra version) it is on page 1386 and is called 'Morgan home office furniture'.

It is real cheap - but looks pretty good I think..

Thanks,

Mark

aha, thanks mucho for that :)
