And these tables are good for holding up Pepsi spills every night. ; ) This monitor was $450 when I was shopping for it, but Sams Club had it for $250, so that's not cheap. ; )

I have nothing more than a Zalman CNPSA-CU to cool this CPU. I sit ontop a temperature of around 115 or somewhere around that neighborhood.

Newegg has the Coolermaster Wavemaster black edition for $148

Very nice case

got new furniture so i moved all of my computer stuff into the living room.

stuff you see:

computer, cable modem (under shelf, next to desk. behind that is the smc router and apc ups), some ikea light, logitech cordless mx duo, logitech z2200 2.1 speaks, samsung 192n 19" LCD, tape measure, a calendar, and my recliner in the background :woot:

ahh, it's some generic pos i got from summit pc's when i ordered it a long time ago. i have no money left now i bought new furniture, kb/mouse, speakers, ups, desk and amongst other things for another room. maybe once i get my tax refund, i'll get a new one....

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
