It's funny how Apple sent the responsibility of YouTube app and Google Maps back to Google, and they put a lot of resources improving it. If you think about how this is helping the iPhone get back on track then it's kind of awkward given Android.

You're looking at at it the wrong way.

Google makes more money from iPhone than Android. while android has a bigger market share right now, the majority of mobile internet traffic is from iPhone, while android users use it a lot less. It's in googles best interest to make all these internet using mobile users use their services.

Installed it used it, then uninstalled it. I will stick with apple maps and Waze.

Google Apps on my iPhone 5 is damn nice. What a change from a 3GS. I'm actually scared on how accurate the GPS location is.
