Personally I think the original movies with the costumes looked a lot better than this freakish CGI crap.

 

agreed, the originals are still the best and when you mix in Vanilla Ice you have the perfect movie! :D

Is it just me, or did it sound like they recycled a bunch of transformer sound effects for that trailer.

I don't see any issue with that? They used sounds from Star Wars in the Indiana Jones films as well. Even Jurassic Park used sound effects from Star Wars.. Such things happen all the time in movies, even with certain scenes. Like, Bay reused a highway chase scene from The Island in Transformers 1
