I might work on an uninstaller when I have time to burn. :)

@FlishFun & Raptor: Why don't you add a uninstallBatch parameter for each item? Also, will you add mutuallyExclusive and depends parameters as I suggested? Thanks for the info. :D

And no, not yet... still compiling (very close to done, been at it most of today).

hmm...anyone good with a hex editor? probably something can be edited on the installer to make it auto-progress through the dialogue boxes. I remember someone did that with the DX9b installer on the M S F N site, to auto except the eula.

Just an idea, I'm clueless when it comes to hex-editing the .exe

the only other way would be to re-package the viewer, i.e. install it somewhere, then copy the files,and reg entries into a custom installer and have that silently installing with the autopatcher.

I don't know exactly how useful this is, for the DAMN viewer, but when you uninstall, it tells you where the registry keys are, and where the files are kept

I've attached the installed files, and the reg keys if you want them.

All that is needed is a batch file to extract the files, and run the .reg keys in the REG KEYS folder

I uninstalled DAMN on my machine, unzipped this, ran the .reg keys and all seems to be working, even the uninstaller still works if people decide to opt out.

I like NFO Veiwer more then that one. Then again I have not used Damn in a long time.

I may check into that one too.

@extreme_madness - Doesn't work unless you have Windows installed on your "C" drive. If it has any other letter it won't work (I had tried it too)

...at quick glance, it appears they have 2 columns of 303 WinXP tweaks, installed by either .exe, .vbs or .reg. :o

just a quick side note, what theme are you running for your windows xp while that screenshot was taken, it looks pretty good

It's called RhodiumX (by tiger2k)... it's the theme I've been using for the past month or so (most of the AutoPatcher pics are taken with it), and you can get it here: https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=107479 :D

      I do not remember anything happening to Apple and Google for bribing people not to make Apps for Windows Phone. Edge barley has a foot print to matter. If the other browser companies want more of the Pie, they need to do better. I use Brave on all my personal device. However in industry, Edge of default, as we can manage it easier with MS tools.

      On the one hand, it shouldn't be difficult. You buy a computer, you decide what OS you want, which browser etc. Simple enough. But that's the techie side of things. My sister, my mother, wouldn't bother with such a thought. And I'm pretty sure that if you presented a window asking them what to pick they would say, "I don't care! I just want to access my Email!"
