I  would  prefer to have a bug free version than a rushed version. ;)

So take your time boys and release when its ready... :D  :D

S

Well, here were the bugs that were found by me (and confirmed by Kelsenellenelvian & Raptor):

1. TweakMP errors out.

2. .Net doesn't ask for a CD now, but it's still not silent... working on it.

3. MSN Plus! launches a broswer window that contains flash (and asks to install flash).

4. The new rebooting feature isn't working.

5. The Menu doesn't close after running the program.

6. When the Updater is run, it doesn't delete the old AutoPatcher folder.

And as of right now we've fixed numbers 1 - 4. I don't think we'll be able to fix number 5 until they update the menu software that AgEnTsMiTh is using (which isn't all bad it just means you'll have to exit the menu after choosing "run program" or just ignore it and let it close when you reboot your PC). And number 6 can't be fixed, but it doesn't hurt anything, and can be deleted manually by you (I'll have a file inside that says "This Folder is Safe to Delete").

So I think we're good to go. So now I'm going to recompile these, and post the info for them in the next coming hours. :)

Uh-oh... it's good news, bad news time folks.

The good news: I'll have everything finished today in the next couple hours.

The bad news: To transfer it to work (so I could finish it) I burnt it on CD and now the CD only reads halfway then errors out. So, I can finish what I need to, but I won't be able to compile/upload it until tonight.

In conclusion, this will be delayed anywhere from 7 - 24 hours. It's not bad, but I would have liked to finish and get it out soon. :( Anywho, I'll post information (though I won't be able to post sizes) in a little bit. :)

Noooooo! Ah well, off to bed for me, hopefully out by the morning, good luck and thanks for your endless efforts!

Sorry guys, I tried the CD on two different systems, always dies at the same part, yet there are no scratches at all on it (also tried cleaning it, no difference). Now you see why I don't like giving release dates. ;) lol

try Blindread

Nope... somethin' is wrong with those files, though it said it burnt fine. Hmmm... I normally would have checked it, but I was in a hurry this morning. :/ Oh well, a few more hours won't kill ya... will it? :D

If its not out today, then i will hate you forever

Hmmm... I guess I'd better change my "Doesn't hate me forever" list...

Why are people bugging over 7-24 hours. If he releases early, there will be a torrent of abuse and support issues.

I would much wather wait, and have a solid product. And either way, whatever your views, don't bug the guy, he has done us users one of the biggest favours imaginable, saved us time!

    • Yes, Scoop was created to promote Coreutils for Windows. You can still see early versions of their website on the Web Archive. It was a joke that nobody took seriously. Microsoft's implementation of Coreutils, however, are built in Rust.
    • Looks like EA's Star Wars Zero Company will be out this August by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Over a year ago, EA surprise announced that a team of former Firaxis members is working on a brand-new Star Wars game. Dubbed Zero Company, the title would have XCOM-like turn-based tactics gameplay as players manage a squad of professionals from all over the galaxy. Now, just ahead of an official announcement, it looks like the release date has leaked out. The upcoming Summer Game Fest presentation on Friday is when EA is supposed to show off the title's gameplay footage, with fans also expecting it to reveal a release date. However, the ever-reliable billbil-kun from Dealabs says they have already managed to find out when the game is coming out and what versions fans will have the option of purchasing. Per the leak, Star Wars Zero Company has an August 27, 2026, release date attached to it. The title is slated to release on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 with a $49.99 standard and $59.99 Deluxe edition. The leaker also adds that there won't be any early access perk attached to this special edition. Pre-orders could kick off alongside the official announcement this Friday, too. For those unfamiliar with the title, Bit Reactor is developing Star Wars Zero Company with help from Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games. The EA-published title is said to be set during the "twilight of the Clone Wars." We will have to wait and see if base building and management mechanics from the XCOM series will be present here, too. "You will step into the shoes of Hawks, a former Republic officer who leads Zero Company — an unconventional outfit of professionals for hire hailing from across the galaxy," reads the game description. "Hawks and Zero Company are recruited for an operation that pits them against an emerging threat that will consume the galaxy if left unchecked. To succeed, Hawks will lead a team of uneasy allies who must set aside their differences to overcome nearly impossible odds." You can catch the Star Wars Zero Company extended gameplay reveal at the Summer Game Fest showcase that's kicking off on Friday at 2 pm PT / 5 pm ET.
    • All their other games always had a new cast and new story, so that's not very surprising. The new dev is worrisome though.
    • New dev usually means more trash. I also despise that they censored the 1 remake.
    • Oh, they're back to making console games that actually sell consoles? Shock horror.
