that's ok btw what is it's final size gonna be ??

Not 100% sure yet... current size is 201 MB, but I may be able to get it lower (and no, it's not 3rd party programs doing it... it's because of the fix for .Net 1.1 and a few other updates). :D

Make the SFX unzip to the temp folder and start AutoPatcher, rather than just package the SFX. ISTool (www.istool.org) can do that for Inno Setup packages, using 7za.exe.

Use a 64 MB dictionary.

I'll give that a shot. :)

I am testing the Dec pack and yes Flash and Shockwave are included.

Final size of AP after unzipping and updating is @230megs.

Dunno if you found any bugs, but here are the ones I found and are working on:

1. TweakMP errors out, can fix it by installing it after Windows Media Player.

2. .Net doesn't ask for a CD now, but it's still not silent... working on it.

3. MSN Plus! launches a broswer window that contains flash (and asks to install flash). Can fix it by moving it to after Flash installs.

4. The new rebooting feature isn't working, need to confer with Raptor.

5. The Menu doesn't close after running the program. Will confer with AgEnTsMiTh on this.

6. When the Updater is run, it doesn't delete the old AutoPatcher folder, must be deleted manually.

Well, that's all I found, I'll work tonight and tomorrow to make them vanish. Brightside, Windows Update reports no updates to be installed! :D

It seems i have to get the patcher tomorrow,Public network service here serve from 8:00am-11:00pm here.

and it's 10:16pm now, :(

Sorry, the sucky thing about time zones, it's 8:19 am here... so I have a bit of time left. :)

    • I can name 10x that on why not to switch.... It's funny outlook/office are going towards web app wrappers, and then MS is now preaching native apps again.... ugh can we just pick a lane and stay in it
    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
