abc ABC partners with 'Amazing Race' duo for fantasy competition series

Well, here is a reality series concept I haven?t heard of before. ABC has ordered up competition reality series, The Quest, which will be set in a fictional place called ?Everrealm?. The Quest will pit 12 contestants against one another in a live-action role-playing competition that is described by ABC as taking place in ?a land of magic and malevolence, where mythical creatures lurk in the woods, agents of darkness stir in the shadows and mystical beings infiltrate the keep."

The Quest lives up to its name, hailing from the minds of reality television royalty. The Amazing Race co-creators are on board as executive producers. Joining the pair in executive producing the show will be Mark Ordesky and Jane Fleming (Court Five) and Rob Eric and Michael Williams (Green Harbor Productions).

A live-casting event will take place in Arizona at the end of May to seek out contestants. Read the casting call below:
