How to RDP into Kubuntu from a Windows machine?

Hi, what's a good program to enable on Kubuntu where one could RDP in remotely? I use Royal TS on my main workstation but its only option is RDP and I was wondering if there are any RDP-type applications that can be installed on Kubuntu to allow me to remote in?

RDP no, there's only 1 I tried and it was just plain awful.

You can get VNC servers and client (tightvnc, etc.)

Or you could use SSH tunnelling with xming, etc.

RDP is a microsoft protocol, I would look into VNC

You could also look into installing Teamviewer which is free for personal use, that ought to work OK for you

Use NX (NoMachine). http://www.nomachine.com/

You can get a client for any platform including Windows. Simply install the server to your Kubuntu machine. It's better than VNC & RDP combined in my opinion... How exactly... use it once and you will understand.

Run Kunbutu inside of Virtualbox.

All Virtualbox guests can be accessed via RDP.

Thanks for the suggestions. I thought I saw something called xrdp that allowed you to RDP in from Windows but it hasn't been updated since last year.

I think that's what I tried, it was pretty awful and didn't work well. Good luck if you chose to go down that route.
