you guys are on fire here :D i guess this means we will see a 2k version soon :D

Well my plan is to have it release the same time as the Dec Update for AutoPatcher XP By the way, thought the 2000 version should be called: AutoPatcher 2000. :D hehe By the way, new website = awesome. Started work on it last night... coming along great. :D

@Tech_8356: hmm... ill change it a bit... from now on you will be the "AutoPatcher 2000 Squad"

hehehe :D

What about me

Don't listen to Raptor... he doesn't know what he's talkin' about sometimes! hehehe Of course you're included Optiplex... in fact, I'll call you the ringleader. lol And you're all part of the "AutoPatcher 2000 Crack Helper Squad Type R Plus Exteme Edition"! :D

But seriously guys... thanks every so much for your help. When I get the site up I'll be messagin' some of you for information, cause I'm makin' a Special Thanks section on the website with names and what you specifically helped with (each patcher will have that page). (Y) So don't worry... all your hard work won't go unnoticed. :D

I want to be the "team sergeant on mad crack that is 1337 with Windows 2000 hotfixes" :ninja:

If anyone has an OEM computer with the original OEM installation still intact, PLEASE check the C:\I386 folder if it exists and see if you find any updates there (usually starts with Q). If you find any, please post 'em.

Aahh wouldn't it be great if I had all the hotfixes downloaded

great to hear Flishfun

lol @Raptor

we just need to decide exactly what updates replace what etc so we have the essentials only, why include patch for IE 5 when you install IE 6 etc.

also if we are a squad how about custom titles for username thing?

Jono... we're playing around... you're not really a squad. :p You're just really helpin' me out. :D

@OptiPlex - lol Team Sergeant... lol Anyways, thanks a lot for your help... in this one and the last on helpin' me decide which Hotfixes needed to stay, which to go. ;)

I was kiddin' (cause you left poor Optiplex out)... lol

@OptiPlex - What version did you think I planned on puttin' in there? lol

@ Flish -- how do you plan to package the IE6SP1 for Win2k installer?

Well, this weekend I'll format my second HDD, load 2000 on it and see what I can do. ;)

EDIT - Currently downloading IE 6 SP1 for 2000. It's about 11 MB and I'll figure out what the silent install command is. :)

    • DXVK generally performs better on Linux (using Wine/Proton) than on Windows. Because Linux utilizes highly optimized, open-source Vulkan drivers (like RADV/ACO) that were specifically built for AMD Radeon hardware, the translation of Direct3D 9/11 to Vulkan is highly efficient. But if you take the trouble to watch my video, you can see that there are also advantages for Nvidia users. You see that I run Assassin's Creed Odyssey on 4GB RAM and on an i3-3240. What do you think are the minimum system requirements for windows11? For CPU-based rendering, Linux is generally faster than windows11 by about 15% due to lighter background overhead and efficient kernel scheduling.
