Question - how do I get the Season Pass for the game? I can't see anything on the website and I haven't seen an option to purchase via the game. Unless I'm missing something :/

Hey dipsy...have you checked the Xbox store dammit? The season pass is right there hahaha, $24.99, very modest price! (right)

Was tempted to click buy but held back!

Woops, thanks for pointing that out. MS really need to sort out being able to view/but through the Xbox website and not relying on the console itself.

It is definitely a mess right now, could use some MAJOR sorting out. Indeed there's nothing for X1 on the site, but it's on the console...it's also not on the X1 SmartGlass, just checked. They need to put their store in order, seriously. But anyway, i'd recommend checking the console primarily for the time being if you want to buy something.

Here's hoping they'll wave a magic wand at E3 and it'll sort everything out ;)

If anyone in the US is interested in a copy of Titanfall for the One, thinking $30, PM me. Maps not being free DLC has completely killed my interest, which admittedly was not all that great recently anyway. Thanks.

Latest patch is nice, finally allows for 60+ fps without vsync, meaning I can play in borderless windowed mode with over 60 fps, and without having to use the game's glitchy vsync to remove tearing (in borderless windowed mode dwn gets rid of tearing for you). Looks much smoother now, being capped to 60 fps in borderless windowed mode looked weird on my 120hz monitor, creating a sort of motion blur effect, now it looks as smooth as I expect it to.

Had a few days playing the new maps and love them. They're just as balanced as the original maps, with a good mix of close quarters and open areas, and naturally maps are across multiple levels too.

I can't decide which I like best, War Games or Swamp. The way players die and the level loads in War Games is pretty cool, kind of like a glitchy virtual reality world.

If the future maps are of this quality, they're onto a winner.

Only had the pleasure of doing Swamp and Runoff so far, War Games has not come up in rotation for me. Is it good?

War Games is very good too. I think that it may be my favourite from the new maps. There's a huge hole in the middle of the map so if you've just ejected and aren't paying attention :P You'll have to let me know your thoughts when you try it out.

Runoff is annoying me at the moment, I seem to get stranded at the lower level and it takes me forever to get back up. I need to keep playing on it and get used to it.

Big hole in the middle which is a problem during ejection...really want to play this map already :woot:

Will be doing more Titanfall in the weekend and hope the War Games will come up, i think almost everyone that plays now got the new maps and there seems to be a constant supply of new low rank players heh heh

Runoff does have that layered and convoluted design, it's quite handy if you're going for the satchel requirements :D

I think it's just frustrating for me because it's the one map that I always take a hammering on. I just need to keep playing.

    • Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more. It was by no means the first though. Battlefield 2142 from 2006 had the same thing. In fact, Neowin wrote a story about it back then. https://www.neowin.net/news/ba...-in-game-ads-clarification/
    • This is obviously aimed at the education where Apple has lost so much ground to Chromebooks in the last few years, but unless they come up with a comparable management system for education why would anyone switch back?
    • Here's how we arrived at that claim: Note that this is just Play Store downloads. The app is also available on the Galaxy App Store
    • Google Play states the app had more than 50 million downloads. What other metric do you suggest should be used?
    • MSN defined our generation in some ways, kind of like Snapchat and TikTok have done for future generations. I have great memories of the MSN era in the late 90s / early 2000s. In the UK everyone seemed to come home from School and go on MSN for the evening. We didn't really have mobile phones then, so other than going and knocking on your friends door it was a totally new way of interacting with people. I also loved how I could talk to people I’d met playing online games from around the world. Inviting people to NetMeeting and messing about with the shared white board and webcams was pretty fun, even if webcams only ran at a couple of fps over dial-up. All the random things you could do with MsgPlus! were really fun - I suspect that made a few people jump with /shello randomly blasting Mr Hankey out their speakers! Maybe I’m just nostalgic, however I do feel the internet and computers were more fun back then.
