I got the season pass and broke my not buying content before it exists rule, heh!

Almost gen 3  :D

All good if you enjoy it. It's an excellent experience, a fine MP feast, though for me fatigue is setting in after around 70 hours of play. Right now don't think i'll got for Gen 10, it's just too much

The Black Market -  Also being introduced is a place to buy and sell burn card packs and insignias. New currency system introduced, credits will be awarded for completing certain tasks (match victory etc etc) Full details in here. Reassuring for me is they categorically state that this WILL NOT mean the introduction of micro transactions

Yes, there's only Variety and Attrition.

Not a big fan of any of the three new maps. They all seem too big and way too open -- it's a sniper's paradise. Dig Site looks great, but it has a terrible layout because there's no variety in the design -- everything looks the same. The first DLC was far better, and two of those three maps (the exception being Swampland) paled in comparison to the original maps.

I enjoy the new maps, I just got back into the game last week. I think Haven is the only one that's a bit large. All 3 are enjoyable, I think export is my least favorite. Enjoy the look of these maps, Haven especially, more than the first DLC.

Update 6 incoming - here

Pilot Skirmish - 8 vs 8 Pilot only combat, no Titans, no bots

Marked for Death now a permanent game mode

So they've reduced the game back to what we all called it from day one...

Call of Duty with robots

They've come so far :P

What's different between Advanced Warfare and Pilot Skirmish?

Advanced Warfare is a game and Pilot Skirmish is a game mode in Titanfall :P but seriously don't have hands on experience with AW so can't say :P

That's a little harsh, this is a single game mode in the game ;)

Seriously? Everyone was whining they didn't have a non-titan mode at launch, and now everyone's whining they're going to have a temporary non-titan mode? Respawn can't win. I give them kudos for continuing to support the game and addressing the biggest issues as time goes on (particularly team balancing).

I'm pleased now, I just need to be fed a good meal and be treated like a nice slave, a slave pilot forced in my Titan to die for my master.  :woot:

    • UK to ban under-16s from social media following a six-week trial with teenagers by Paul Hill Credit: Pexels A few months ago, Neowin reported that the UK was trialing a social media ban with 300 teenagers for six weeks, that testing has come to an end, and Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced that the country will ban under-16s from social media. Starmer said that this technology is making children unhappy and making it easier for bullies to harass and abuse them. He continued to talk about the addictive nature of social media, saying that it uses an infinite scroll designed to lock users in for hours. He said this interferes with children doing their homework, reading, playing with friends outside, and going to bed on time. Tackling the idea that nothing can be done about social media, Starmer said: The government’s action won’t stop at social media either, the PM said. It plans to take action on gaming services and livestreaming platforms. Right now, he said, strangers can contact any child unchecked. He said this wouldn’t happen in real life, and the government is going to stop it from happening online, too. The Labour government has overseen the introduction of the Online Safety Act, a big change to the internet which includes age verification on adult websites. This has led to a fair bit of backlash, but overall, the government is pushing ahead with these changes.

    • I'll wait for the root cause analysis. Looks like it's HP, Lenova, and certain configurations that are askew, hardly "all of windows." Time will tell.
