i suppose if he bragged at least they will not have issues getting him put in prison, and from what i gather most prisoners do not have fond feelings for child rapists.

Indeed. He's likely to have a short meeting with a sharp object.

The hell with putting them in jail, a bullet to the head is what they deserve.  Quick and easy, and if you use a large enough caliber they won't even know what hit them :D

However,  put them in a particular correctional facility known for gang raping inmates...might be a fitting sentence.

Nobody likes rapists, not even inmates.

I say we give the victim a metal strap on and let her go to town.

This and probably wrap sandpaper around the shaft.

this is just sick, the amount of violence she suffered most likely changed her forever into a different person. Also they went into a extra leap for calling her parent explaining what they were doing to her, this is beyond anything i ever heard.

how someone should deal with this? as a parent i would probably go berserk on them; as a citizen the notions of justice and human rights are important ones and should be respected for a healthy society; the victim should see justice applied to the culprits and they should receive the properly penalty for a crime as cruel as this one; the problem is, if proven they are guilty, how to deal with this without becoming a monster as they are? kill them? how? slowly, faster? put them into prison for life, having the state paying for them to live and the victim knowing they are alive?

we, as a society, should not let this things go unpunished and just the notion that they could get away because of a technical detail or some legal crap, it disgusts me.

Which is a bit hypocritical of prisoners when you consider how much rape occurs in prison.

That is almost always same sex rape, and usually an establishment of power & pecking order. Violent as they are most all hardcore prisoners have either mothers, younger brothers or sisters they feel defensive about, and this kind of opportunistic rapist represents what would set them off to defend them. This is what makes rapists, pederasts, and pedophiles targets.

Lot of "UMADBRO" types posting here.

I've always been in favour of a humane, efficient death penalty for crimes such as this. A quick shot to the head or injection does it. It's not about revenge or retribution but about practicality and creating a closure to the events.

All these "PUT THEM IN JAIL TO GET RAPED BY BUBBA!!" and "PUT THEM THROUGH A MEAT GRINDER!!" type comments are pure sickness and irrational.

Sentiments shared

I know EXACTLY what I would do to those sick f**ks if I ever got my hands on them.

To any of you who share these sentiments and statements.

How does this make you any better than them ?

Unfortunately, this will never happen an people like this still have rights.

And plea bargains shouldnt even be considered in a situation like this.

In my opinion it's completely jacked up that people like this still have rights. As soon as they are proven guilty they should be given the same rights they gave this girl (ie. none).

To any of you who share these sentiments and statements.

Personally I think they should be treated how they treated the victim. In this particular case they completely controlled her and stripped her of all her rights as a human being, so they should therefore be stripped of all their rights as a human being. It may sound harsh but honestly it is the least they deserve. As for how it makes me any better than them, I wouldn't want this type of thing done to an innocent person, let alone a child....only those who have done it to an innocent person. If you have ever watched the tv show Dexter (anyone on Neowin who hasn't?) I honestly view justice similarly to how Dexter does. If a person does something heinous to another human being, they should receive similar treatment.

I wouldn't go as far to be a vigilante who brings this sort of justice to others, but I would support a government sanctioned law with proper safeguards in place pertaining to it.

Not really.

Psychopathy is a disorder, defined by Hare's Psychopathy Checklist ? Revised (PCL?R) and characterised in part by a diminished capacity for remorse and poor behavioural controls ( Hare, 1991).

I do not have poor behavioral controls and I am remorseful, but not to somebody I feel deserves it....in my eye if somebody murdered an innocent person, they deserve to be killed....I am not religious, but I do believe in an eye for an eye.

As an addendum to what I said earlier, I only feel that way about something done intentionally, I do not feel someone who killed someone else accidentally (or through self-defense or something) should be treated in the same manner, only those who knew what they were doing, in control of their actions, and continued to do so.

It doesn't, I'm no better than any other law abiding and moral man/woman or child I never said I was.

But as a father of 3, 2 of whom are little girls, I know what I would want to do to someone who would do what this sick little motherf****r did.

Most of my r/t friends would agree, (though actually carrying out said threat would be something we'd reconsider)

And like any father, if enraged to the point of not thinking clearly anymore, a man isn't going to care about the consequences of his actions at the time.

I'm with the eye for an eye notion. If they torture their end dhould be administrred in the harshest manner. This isn't psychopathy, iust institutionalized Karma. What comes around, goes around. Etc.

Must be why the American "correction" facilities are such wonders at turning out reformed criminals, and are not a revolving door that turns out repeat criminals worse than when they came in, huh ?

In what society at ANY time has punishment/revenge/eye for an eye, EVER caused reduced crime and less violence in society. Answer is never and nowhere. You americans are way to focused on revenge punishment over reform. You're to interested in punishing criminals to even talk about reforming them, even though reforming leads to much lower crime rates, cheaper prisons, less people and time in prisons and productive members of society.

    • I like Tidal, but it still does not control devices from the mobile/app and still no surround support. And yeah re: above comment I still get a lot of network errors and I am on a 4/4 Gbit Fiber connection.
    • Aren`t "security features" and "AI model that can see your screen" a tad diametric!
    • Samsung, Amazon extend 990 PRO 2TB NVMe SSD deal beyond Prime Day 2026 by Sayan Sen Recently, we had Amazon's Prime Day 2026 sales wherein there were several great deals including on SSDs. One of those discounted components was the Samsung 990 PRO SSD as the 2TB variant of it was selling for $370, a very good price after a long time. Although that deal was supposed to expire today, Amazon has now extended that sale further (purchase link under the specs table down below). The 990 PRO is a PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD and still one of the fastest drives available today for under $400. Speaking of fast, sequential reads and writes are rated at 7450 MB/s and 6900 MB/s, respectively. The random throughputs for reads and writes are 1400K IOPS and 1550K IOPS, respectively. The 990 PRO is based on Samsung's 7th Gen V-NAND flash, and it too is TLC. It packs 2 gigs of LPDDR4 DRAM cache, which helps the random performance. The endurance rating for this is 1200 TBW (terabytes written), which should be sufficient for most users. The Samsung 990 PRO is compatible with the PlayStation 5, but if you are going to use the 990 PRO on a PC, check out the Samsung Magician app that lets you track your drive's health, update its firmware, customize various settings, and more. The technical specs of the Samsung 990 PRO 2TB are given in the table below: Specification Value Form Factor M.2 2280 Interface PCIe Gen 4.0 x4, NVMe 2.0 NAND Flash Samsung V-NAND TLC Controller Samsung In-house Controller Cache Memory Samsung 2GB Low Power DDR4 SDRAM Sequential Read Speed Up to 7,450 MB/s Sequential Write Speed Up to 6,900 MB/s Random Read (4KB, QD32) Up to 1,400,000 IOPS Random Write (4KB, QD32) Up to 1,550,000 IOPS Random Read (4KB, QD1) Up to 22,000 IOPS Random Write (4KB, QD1) Up to 80,000 IOPS Operating Temperature 0°C to 70°C Reliability (MTBF) 1.5 Million Hours Endurance 1,200 TBW (Total Bytes Written) Get it at the link below: Samsung 990 PRO SSD 2TB NVMe SSD (MZ-V9P2T0B/AM): $369.99 (Sold and Shipped by Amazon US) Good to know This Amazon deal is U.S. specific, and not available in other regions unless specified. • Glad im on the right boat. Tidal has lots of issues in terms of app and music mix, its worst than spot but its honest. Spot algo is very tendentious and they pess less to artists, so im comfortable with the tidal errors, for now.
    • Tidal won't monetize AI slop music, company says by David Uzondu Image via Tidal Tidal has announced an AI policy aimed at protecting artists and their crafts, as AI music generation tools continue to improve both in speed and quality. According to the music streaming platform, AI-generated music will be accepted, but these tracks will be held to a "higher standard" of content integrity. Next month, the company plans to auto-identify and tag these uploads. Listeners will spot a special icon next to content that algorithms flag as 100% AI-generated starting mid-July, and the platform hopes to expand this tag to partially generated songs as detection tech improves. Any AI music that exploits an artist's voice or likeness will be taken down, and Tidal will immediately block tracks associated with fraudulent activity, which includes artificial streaming and deceptive content that interferes with real creators. And finally, music that's 100% AI-generated will not be monetized. Tidal said there is "ongoing debate" about whether certain licensed synthetic models deserve payouts, so it's possible that this part will change in the future. Streaming platforms are absolutely getting flooded with AI-generated music because of how easy it is to pump out endless tracks every minute. To give you an idea of how "bad" it is, Deezer alone reported that synthetic uploads now make up about 44% of its daily intake, which translates to roughly 75,000 automated tracks hitting its servers every single day. Interestingly, Deezer found most people cannot tell the difference between human and machine creations, with an Ipsos study revealing that 97% of listeners failed to spot the AI-generated tracks. Spotify's CEO recently pushed back against listeners who call AI music "slop," urging people to stop using the term and instead embrace the creative potential of AI music. The Swedish platform partnered with Universal Music Group to test "legal and controlled" generative AI tools that let subscribers remix songs with AI.
