Actually, I was adding on to what you said while placing more emphasis on the role of the girlfriend. But in your words, the underage boy was a scumbag and the woman was "gross". Can you see why I felt the need to supplement your post? Judging by your post alone, it almost seems like you find it okay for a woman to have sex with an underage boy as long as she hasn't known him since he was a child. I assume you don't but shouldn't you be more concerned with the fact that she was an adult that took advantage of him instead of it being gross?

Agreed.

Hey, I said "super gross"!

It's gross if a woman is an older predator, it is super gross if the woman has known the victim all that time :p

I hope news posts like this get filtered in the UK soon at an ISP level with a forced opt-out option only, I don't want my kids reading this kind of thing online and getting ideas!!!!

Help me mr cameronnn

why would you need your government to do that? can't you just use a software solution that blocks content? sometimes we parents need to take these kinds of measures into our own hands. I mean with recent reports of Big brother watching everyone "supposedly" to protect us all...

It's all dad's fault. He got this bad karma on his back by himself in the first place.

The woman had been involved with the videoing daddy for 11 years, making her 16 or 17 herself when her relationship with the father began.

I wonder what happened to his former wife, the son's mother. Did he ditch her in favour of a younger "model"?

I was getting it 2-3 times every day when I was 15. My girlfriend at the time was 19, in college AND living with us. My parents adored her. "Long as you don't get her pregnant" was all my parents said about it.

Does that make me a victim? NOT IN THE LEAST. And in my state 18 is age of consent (16 in special circumstances).

Please, people. PLEASE stop with all the pretense of 'oh she should rot in jail' and the other nonsense that comes with the "crowd mentality".

This young man is NO victim in any way shape or form concerning this matter.

Seriously. People need to relax. When I was fifteen I was having sex with hookers and my parents just said "as long as you pay them".

Overprotective parents raising kids/teenagers as if they're fragile little angels leads to adults who need therapy and blame everyone else for their fork-ups.  Parents need to let them experience life and make some of their own choices.  As long as nobody's physically forcing him to do something then let him learn his life lessons the hard way.

On the other hand, one of those life lessons is that you can get your ass beat for having sex with someone else's girlfriend.  I would hope the dad can legally teach him that lesson in his locale.

I agree with you 100%. The world today is just over the top, they try to protect everyone from everything. Let people experience life, we not meant to be living in a protective bubble.

    • Linux 7.2's first release candidate gets off to a good start by Paul Hill Credit: Larry Ewing It has been a few weeks since the release of Linux 7.1, and in that time, the Linux 7.2 merge window has been open, where developers can submit their features and patches ready for the upcoming release. That window is now shut, and the release candidate phase has begun so that new features can be tested and further fixes applied. According to the founder of Linux, Linus Torvalds, this week’s release candidate looks “reasonably normal”. Although we are super early in the release candidates, this is a good sign as it makes it more likely that an eighth release candidate will not be needed. Torvalds even mentioned that the update’s stats are only larger than they really are because there was another AMD header drop with a third of the patch just being AMD GPU register definitions, which aren’t big changes but make the code contributed look larger overall. In addition to this, he noted that just over half the patch is drivers, even when excluding the AMD register dump. The rest of the changes are spread out over architecture updates, tooling, documentation, and core kernel updates. In the next week, Torvalds says that he will be chilling out, taking the week “mostly off”. Despite this, he will be reading emails and keeping up with things, so if he is slow responding, now you know why. He said he is hoping for a calm week, but we will just have to see if the second release candidate is actually like that. We should expect seven or eight release candidates before Linux 7.2 is released, so expect it around the end of August. If you missed it a few weeks ago, be sure to check out our coverage of Linux 7.1's release.
