Man of Steel sequel to feature Batman (and others) (2016)

Prepare for a way bulked up Affle?k. Jennifer Gardner was at an event and told a reporter her hubby is in the gym several hours a day and shoveling protein.

Affleck is a big dude to start with. If he does like Christian Bale did for Batman Begins, at 6' 4" he may well look more like Batman than any past actor.

This was him during the filming of "The Town". If he can get like this again then it would be perfect.

Do you remember your first thought when the idea of you playing Batman was originally presented to you and was there a tipping point in your decision making process, a moment where you started to think, ?I really want to do this??

BEN AFFLECK: Initially I was reluctant as I felt I didn?t fit the traditional mold but once Zack showed me the concept, and that it would be both different from the great movies that Chris and Christian made but still in keeping with tradition I was excited. Doing something different and new is always tricky and part of the thrill and the risk is that initially it confounds expectations. The truth is, it?s the movie and the execution of it is what all the actors depend on and I believe in Zack?s vision.

Good to know that they're keeping with tradition. Previously I heard that Affleck was going and Zack were going to do something new with Batman. I think they just meant that the new thing is that Bruce/Batman will be older this time around, and that the mythos will still be intact.

I know suspending your disbelief isn't really hard in a universe where all it takes are glasses to stop people from differentiating between Clark Kent and Superman, but all I can see when thinking of Ben Affleck as Batman is this:

According to my source, who I will refer to as, ?General Napier,? General Motor IS working on the Batmobile designs, but I was also told that production designer Nathan Crowley, and engineers Chris Culvert and Andy Smith, have been consulting on the designs. All three previously worked on Nolan's Batman trilogy. They were responsible for converting Nolan's "crude" Play-Doh design of the Tumbler into the Lamborghini/tank-like vehicle that it became. My source tells me, ideas are still being tossed around, but don't be surprised if some elements from the Tumbler ARE incorporated into the final design. What those elements are? I haven't been told.

How about Ben Affleck's costume? We have a bit of info about Batman's cowl. Which in the comics and movies has been used to conceal Bruce Wayne's identity and to add to his imposing and intimidating presence. My source tells me that current cowl designs resemble the Caped Crusader's look in Batman: No?l. Which is a 2011 graphic novel written and illustrated by Lee Bermejo, based on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. They also explored concepts that looked like Injustice: Gods Among Us designs, but ultimately passed on those because they were too similar to Nolan's costume.

Great choice for the cowl, I always liked the way his cowl looked in Batman: No?l. And I'm glad they didn't opt for the cowl from Injustice.

It would be awesome if the whole suit followed that design. It would go hand-in-hand perfectly with the 'new thing' they're trying to do with Batman in this film.

The Noel suit is in Arkham Origins. Anyone here with the skills want to take Afflecks face and map it onto that suit?

Lol just a thought

I'll have a go at that >_> Coincidentally, someone on my Twitter feed posted the No?l picture, so brb!

I left the eyes original since those need to be dark anyways.

Doesn't look too different from the actual game character honestly.

As for the game. Great game but surprisingly short main storyline. I finished the main story and a few side missions and was at 16% complete. Main story should have been longer.

More From Jaimie Alexander On SUPERMAN/BATMAN; May Hint At WONDER WOMAN

Alexander laughed slyly, saying, ?I would love for DC to put Wonder Woman in one of their upcoming flicks, either in her own movie or Batman vs. Superman, or just something even to introduce her.? Getting more to the point regarding her earlier comments, Alexander explained carefully, ?Being in the comic book world, we know a lot of the same people at DC and Marvel, so we hear a lot of things, but it?s all speculation right now. But I would absolutely love that [Wonder Woman appearing in one of the upcoming films]. Thankfully and gratefully, I?m appreciative to the people who ask my opinion of the character, and that?s been pretty amazing.?

If they're going for the older Batman, and we have Nightwing (because everyone hates child Robin ofc) then there should be a Batgirl cameo as well.   Along with the WW cameo which will then setup for a WW movie or something down the line.

The Man Of Steel fan-page has verified with sources working on Zack Snyder's sequel that the code name for Batman Vs Superman is 'Sage and Milo.' Apparently casting has and will continue to be done under this name, and test shoots are beginning in LA under it also.

November 9th, Warner Bros. and Yahoo! Movies will be bringing a special online fan event to your computer to celebrate the home video release of this year's hit film Man of Steel. Set to begin Saturday at 9:00 a.m. PST/Noon EST, the event will feature the "cast and crew talk all the things Man of Steel, discuss what the future holds for the Last Son of Krypton, and answer live fan questions," but there are a few surprises in store as well.

On the latest episode of his Hollywood Babble-On podcast, filmmaker Kevin Smith, who will host the Man of Steel fan event, mentioned that some announcements and artwork for a certain future film might make their debut during the event.

"They're doing a special on Yahoo that I'm hosting, Zack Snyder is the featured guest, but it's all about Man of Steel. So it's me, Zack Snyder, Amy Adams, Henry Cavill is on video from London or he may even be on set with us, and then there's some Michael Shannon stuff. So it's an hour long, it's free, it's on the internet, but it's just kind of to be like 'Hey, Man of Steel is coming out!' But there's two things, there might be announcements during this show and the one thing I do know is there's artwork going to be on this show that may or may not have something to do with a movie that's coming up."

Smith added that his allusions are of course to none other than the upcoming Batman vs. Superman film which will see his friend Ben Affleck put on the cowl as Bruce Wayne/Batman

    • Ummmm that is what is it supposed to do. Just turn if off in settings if you do not want it analyzing your open tabs. Chrome does the same thing with Gemini. Sarfari will do the samething after Apple's AI and even more so with the release of their 27 versions that is now powered by Googles LLM/ML models. Understanding why it is doing it and how it can help you vs jumping to some conspiracy theroy is a much better approach. As long as it can be turned off, all is good. Yes the default should be off but the a lot of people would never discover these features.
    • Just another reason (aside from many others) not to use Edge. Firefox 153.0b5 DEx64 has a similar feature added recently in prior builds that I will turn off at some point when I get around to it. It's the new "Something looks suspicious" page that pops up here and there. It cleverly hides itself between web pages that I've actually visited; as a result, you know, of selecting a web page and telling the browser where to go. The interesting thing is that it does not produce these warnings from pages that I, as the only intelligent user of the browser in my system, have ever directed the browser to open! What seems to be happening is that the browser looks at all the goofy ad links on a web page I do actually open and selects one that "looks suspicious" and then creates the "something looks suspicious" web page, which is neatly inserted, as mentioned, between web pages my RB ("real brain") has directed the browser to load in a session. The thing is, I usually look at links I am considering to follow before I ask the browser to load them, and in cases I have noticed where the link does indeed look suspicious, most of the time I will choose to not follow the link at all. Doesn't everyone do this or something similar? I am picky about what I voluntarily load... (I don't like links that start off fine, with a site designaiton that seems normal enough but then is followed by indecipherable alphanumeric strings many, many lines long, etc. I tend to reject those because they look suspicious. They may not be, but I don't care... I'll stay with Firefox, of course, if for no other reason than they usually let you turn off the junk you don't like. And because it isn't Edge... But at some point Microsoft will come to realize that putting your bookmarks on the left side is a Good Thing for a lot of people, just as Microsoft discovered when it had the bright idea of nailing the Windows taskbar to the bottom of the screen, when for decades Microsoft browsers had left that placement up to the user. They have finally reversed the obscenity of that decision. Finally.
    • Google was using the old CATPCHAs data to train their LLMs. What is the say they won't use this camera data of users to train their LLM? these companies need some strict regulations!
    • Depends on what you need. Might be a bit clearer on what you plan to do with it. Sort of a waste if you get the newest and greatest, but don't know how to use it.
