After the boys finish their little kerfuffle, other heroes that have worked in the background (or for the govt.) come out of the woodwork.

I agree, these are going to be cameos and little else. It's looking like this will be a setup for a big justice league movie. I still expect this to be superman heavy, just with lots of little glimpses of others either towards the end of it or spread out through it.

Perhaps it's Clark who meets up with some of the cameos while working for the Daily Planet. I think the film will be Superman/Batman heavy. Not sure on how many baddies this film will have though :p

I meant in general the amount of characters from the Spiderman Universe was stupid and in turn this could turn the same way

We still don't know who the bad guy is going to be right?  We all thought Lex since he's in it, but it could be at least one more bad guy.

For some reason he doesn't inspire thoughts of Arthur Curry. Probably the hair color as he has the musculature. .

Coincidentally I've read that all the extra characters will be more or less like cameo roles to set them up for their own films/Justice League. I read this yesterday on Twitter.

I'm really hoping we get Lobo or Darkseid.

 

Darkseid would be held off for a true JL movie, no one is bad enough to unite the heroes together besides him.  Lobo could be handled by Superman on his own really.

Doomsday should be the big bad in Justice League movie. Movie should end with the death of Superman. Next Man of Steel film should introduce Hank Henshaw, Superboy, and the return of Superman. They should have Supes body donated to science, where Lex will attempt to keep his body charged with energy while creating the clone Superboy. They can probably leave Steel out of the movie. I don't think they can really use the Eradicator either.
