k22 Posted November 18, 2003 Author Share Posted November 18, 2003 FYI - I tried an upgrade install with this new version and got an error msg about not being able to shut down the truevector service...eventually had to completely uninstall it and install the new version by itself to get it to work. only noticable change is eBay fraud encryption and i don't even use eBay. OldeCrow Posted November 18, 2003 Share Posted November 18, 2003 the most common problem people have with zonealarm is that part of it runs as a service and when a service crashes a couple of times windows stops loading it on startup .. that leaves the zonealarm executable to start it when it starts and for some reason the zonealarm service doesnt like to be started this way ..
