As before guys any issues, comments, request just let me know

the version bit? (guessing as cant see the image at work :))

yeah no probs, i must admit i added that in to check it was working and forgot to take it back out :)

will do it tonight

No, the Top Process

Top Process (by memory use): /usr/lib/iceweasel/iceweasel --sm-config-prefix /iceweasel-05lqPu/ --sm-client-id 22dbe9648-9711-4465-a981-fe00a1ea7672 --screen 0

How do you propose i stop it grabbing your top process lol

what would you rather it did?

Just parse out the last part of the path token. So everything after the last / until you encounter white space. Or even better, display the program then its path like:

Top Process (by memory use): Program (path)
But exclude the parameter list. Or if you do keep it, limit ellipsis it.

Haggis could you confirm if there has been a release v2.2.2 of the stats script? I've had a comment on the Arch AUR asking me to update the PKGBUILD, however other than a 2.2.2 version number change about 6 months ago, I haven't seen anything.

Thanks.

I don't actually have the original patch anymore, and when I did try to reverse the changes made, Gentoo gave me nothing but issues about it, the current version works fine, the host name and all the other parts are found fine, it just spits out

Linux : Unknown

and shows the Penguin Ascii

As I say not a big issue, was thinking of moving to a new distro as building everything is a pain in the bum due to it taking forever :/

I was just curious mainly :p

I would post a screen shot but laptop is in for its yearly clean up - gotta love free insurance :D

Something that would be interesting is to have it run remotely. If you had a Windows box with Python running on it, have it run a script connected to that server or multiple servers, and be able to select the stats, or have it rotate through the list of machines every 30 seconds.

Just a thought. I'll be running this on my Torrent Tracker I run.

I'm so bummed. I can't run this script on my seedbox. They've removed my ability to install / run stuff. I guess they didn't like me installing cacti :p

just take the file out the bin folder :)

    • Nice rant! Expletive after expletive after expletive. Poor petal, I've touched a nerve. Would you like a tissue to wipe those tears away. Btw, nice one calling Neowin trash. Why would you stick around when you disrespect this site and the people behind it? Just go away if you feel that way.

Easy downloading with one click When you click on a download link in a browser, IDM will take over the download and accelerate it. Changes in Internet Download Manager 6.43 Build 1: Added the ability to download MP4 files from web sites where previously only TS videos were available. • This is of course "clickbait" WTF? It is literally your example but tech based. A "clickbait" title is a sensationalized headline designed to manipulate readers into clicking a link using things like "fear" rather than delivering objective facts. A "clickbait" headline also usually provides little value compared to the hype generated. How does this headline not qualify? It's a generic often reused headline that is overly sensationalized. Oh no! "millions" can't use this app anymore. It has no basic facts like what f*cking app. You read the article and it's the Samsung VPN which no one cares about and there is a million free VPNs. How are you defending this ######? Headlines like this (and among other things) make me read Neowin much less than I used to in the past. It's trash...
