The first photo and trailer is out from Lifetime's new adaptation of VC Andrews' cult and sometimes banned 1979 novel "Flowers in the Attic".

A January 18th air date has been announced for the telemovie which stars Ellen Burstyn as the abusive grandmother Olivia, Heather Graham as the duplicitous mother Corrine, and Mason Dye and Kiernan Shipka as the ultimately incestuous brother and sister Chris and Cathy.

Will be interesting to see how it compares to the other film made in 1987. That version was significantly edited in comparision with the book.

Meh...  After seeing the very well made "How I Live Now" with Saoirse Ronan, I feel like a lifetime movie remake of Flowers would be many steps down in quality....  The incest topic isn't exactly popular, so even given that it's a lifetime movie (meaning it will have some level of dedicated viewership), I doubt it will garner much ratings.
