CLYMER, PA ?  State police have charged a western Pennsylvania woman with putting child pornography on a computer in an unsuccessful effort to frame her estranged husband.

Troopers from Indiana, Pennsylvania say she started the investigation when she came to their barracks on Aug. 14 to report her husband sexually abused children and put images of same on their home computer. Police investigated and determined the images were put on the computer Aug. 11 but that Woods' husband left the residence July 23.

Woods is charged with a felony count of sexual abuse of children for possessing a computer with the images on it, and 40 counts of lying about alleged abuse incidents involving her husband.

, if you are going to try to frame someone and use technology to do so, you have to be technically competent. What do file dates and history mean anyway?

Worst... criminal ever. Almost as dumb as a student from our local school who emailed a bomb threat to the school using a computer in the computer lab.

... using his school email address

I've noticed this happening in my area too, A woman, who shall remain anonymous tried to do this to her ex hubby when he left her to be with another woman

Both sides were at fault but using child abuse just to 'get even' is downright despicable.

Time people like this (as it works both ways) learned that the law doesn't tolerate lies (when they are actual lies)

File dates and history? If you check the properties of a file you will know when it was added to the computer and when it was accessed or modified. :-)

file dates meaning what you said and history meaning internet history...

She was convicted of sexual abuse of a child.

She'll do time, the law doesn't **** around regarding cases like that.

It often does with Women, hear stories like it all the time, Women caught repeatedly sleeping with an underage child, the Police respond and "ask her to stop" but she ignores them etc. Seen it so many times in news stories.

Good memory, I had forgotten that woman on the news who did it repeatedly after being asked, then told to stop, then went to jail because she still didn't

though I couldn't find the link to the story,
