Bejeweled 3 is the latest On the House game.  It's free until October 28.

It was OTH in June, so this is the first "repeat" for OTH.  (I grabbed BF3 the first time around - this should pull in the last of the stragglers.)

Also, Bejeweled 3 overlaps (I grabbed it Tuesday) at least through September.

And I DID count NFS Rivals as "warfare" - how many franchises use one form or another of the Frostbite engine?

NFS: The Run also used it, Garden Warfare, Battlefield of course, Dragon Age: Inquisition and the next Mass Effect.  I assume there are more that I haven't noticed yet.

I don't see why they'd change the name at all.  Your suggestion does not make any sense to me.

Could it be because all the games you've named (even NFS The Run) include some form of fighting?  Yes; I am specifically including NFS The Run's "vehicular combat modes", such as Battle Down The Mountain.  Strangely, despite the engine's name, not all of the games have snow (or even cold weather), despite Garden Warfare's Yeti.

Dragon Age Origins in One The House... Free... Grab it...

Free until: 14th October 2013

Its just like BF3 which was free for only 1 week.

I already have it, great game though :)

Do we know at what time within each month they offer a new title? I am curious to see what they are going to offer next.

I haven't kept tabs, but I'm not sure there is any scheduling in place.

I haven't noticed any patterns to it anyway.

was going to buy this classic, not to long ago on GOG.

I remember buying this on my first PC a pentium 75 machine windows 95 and having to fire up dos to run it. :D

manual is located in ea origin folder

It's a cool game.  I picked it and No Regret up on a sale I believe on GoG a while back.  I'll take DRM free over tied to Origin anyday and they're only like $6 each even without the sale.

The developer is now working on Star Citizen if anyone is interested:

    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
