I'm in the same boat with Arrow vs The Flash.

I just can't believe the vast difference in quality between the two

shows. It's like Arrow is a first draft, and The Flash is a finished

product.

Arrow was quite dark for the first season or 2, obviously not to the same extent as DD but with season 3 it just went down hill big time in terms of how soapy it got. I would love to see them go with the darkness and grittiness of DD but at this stage, I don't think that will happen especially with the flash, DC LOT being shot the same way, it is a shame as arrow would have really suited it.

Ben Affleck and DC Entertianment's Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns are reportedly deep in development mode, co-writing a standalone Batman film, with Affleck planned to star and direct.

The Deadline report states that the pair are "well in synch and have more than found their rhythm" in developing the long rumored solo film. Affleck would shoot the Batman solo film once he wraps production on "Live by Night," a movie he has already delayed once in order to don the Dark Knight's cowl in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

It's been like that ever since he got cast as Batman for Batman v Superman. Honestly, you expected Batman to be recast even though all the upcoming movies will be a continuation of Batman v Superman?

Well, there wasn't any confirmation that he would start in it, I wasn't expecting a recast, but there was no sure follow up of batfleck until now.

They weren't sure yet about having a solo Batman film till 2020, though he would appear in upcoming films So they were already sure he'd be taking on the role for the upcoming years

Surely you mean "why don't they"? No one knows what the movies will be about, but I'm 100% sure they won't make live-action movies of the video games.

I think Ben Affleck is going to be great. If I am sceptical of anyone it's Zack Snyder's ability to direct this well.

The person I'm the most skeptical about is Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luther. Not sure why but he just doesn't fit for me. While I can easily see Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne and Batman.

All I can say right now is that I've been having goosebumps each time I watched the trailer!!

Amongst many more epic scenes and easter eggs, have you guys noticed this homage to 'The Dark Knight Returns'?
