Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Looking good there,  someone on another website made the Xena comparison though, which I think is valid at this point, it's pretty close unless this WW outfit does in fact have more color too it than what we can see in this promo shot, which I bet it does.

They might've played with the colours just like they did with Batman and Superman's reveal poster. Batman was black and white and his cowl reveal only showed his.. well.. cowl and rest of his face. Superman's photo was desaturated with a blue tint added to it. So I think it's the same with Wonder Woman's reveal poster. So for that matter, we haven't seen the true colours of any of the suits.

Yeah, which is why I don't worry about the "color" for these things but it's the first thing the detractors jump on when they see it.

Complaining about colours isn't that big of a deal when you've seen people complaining about the fact that it's wrong that Wonder Woman is carrying a sword, a weapon of murder. Those people obviously aren't familiar with the comic-books, but it's quite lame to say that about a movie character if you ask me.

I'm torn on the WW outfit. In one hand, the colors would make it

more comic-booky... but on the other, WW is an Amazonian which

means that bronzed look works quite well; it's more warrior-like.

I totally agree, that's why I'm glad that Superman's outfit in Man of Steel was a bit more desaturated compared to the comic-book vibrant colours. I actually love the colours that the costume has in the reveal photo. It makes her look more realistic and down to earth. They made it look like real ancient armour that people have used centuries ago.

Tried to remove that filter as much as possible:

IF these are the true colours, it turns out that did the same things as they did with Superman's suit. Less vibrant colours to make it look more real and not from a comic-book.

Yeah, there's some dark blue in there for sure, not the type of blue from the comics etc, but that's different media.  I expect vibrant colors in comics but not so much in movies.  They did the same with Marvel, look at what they did with Captain America, it's a darker/washed out blue and not the blue we all know from the comics.

Batman has a "contingency plan" for every super-powered Being he investigates. I love that.

And if I remember right, doesn't Superman end up giving Batman a Kryptonite ring because he knows Bats will do what's necessary if needed?

Yus. And in one of the Crisises (I cannot recall exactly which one), it is also revealed that Aquaman (I think it's him?) has heard Superman say Bruce's name with fear (he thought it was anger at the time, but later figured out it was fear). Superman knows Batman is among one of those who can kill him if he really wants.

Sure is a good while out before it releases I figured on a next year release not two years.

So now I'm not a big comic book buff here, but I assume both superman and batman won't really be fighting each other but will be fighting against Lex Luthor.

If the movie is true to the comics, it's very possible that they'll fight against each other. The only thing I know, if they do fight each other, is that Superman will need to surrender or die at some point.

I've been expecting them to fight each other, I hope I've not been wrong on that.

And I'm not sure what I think about the WW costume - too little colour, it doesn't hold true to any WW costume I know from the comics.

I like how they're keeping everything vague and a mystery before revealing the teaser/trailer. More productions should do this to be honest. And I'm also hoping that we're going to to get tons of long trailers/tv spots for this film.

Yep, it gives you that sense of reality. Like you're not watching at an actor who is doing a cosplay of their favourite comic-book character, but you're actually really seeing that character coming to live. If that makes sense :p

Comic and film are two very different media, and the vibrant colors do not work as well on film as it does in the comics. While we all love the comics, the content must be adapted if you're gonna successfully move it into another media. And by doing it like this, the characters feel less like a cosplay, like you say.

But for WW, wouldn't the New 52 have worked pretty well?

Youtube will be taking them all down until they officially release the teaser

Nobody saved it?? Why do people continue to post on youtube when they will yank just about anything off to avoid conflict.

I think Wonder Woman's outfit looks great and the colors are probably muted for the promo shot, but I can't help but be skeptical about Gadot's physical build. Looking at her right arm in particular, it looks too thick to a mass she's bulked up to. I'm not sure about her legs, but I'm thinking those were shopped to be bigger also, albeit slightly. I think when we see more of the movie, she's going to look skinnier than this promo shot indicates.

I don't get why WW has to be bulkier or something, as far as I know, except for a few things, she's always been tall and slender or just toned up but never with too much muscle, she's suppose to look hot as well.

I think she'll look fine, we're still two years away guys.

Not really because then it would look like she's walking around in a swimming suit. The suit she's wearing in this film looks much more realistic if you ask me.

It's not that she needs to be bulky or buff, Wonder Woman shouldn't look like a twig either. Galdot has done well in putting on mass for the role, but I am skeptical she's put on as much as the promo shot indicates. All that working out she's done and, going by the promo shot, there no muscle tone to account for. Could be an early test shot before she got heavy into the workout regiment and they touched it up to be what they expect. However, If Galdot really is as big as the shot indicates, great! That's not a twig WW then.

    • OpenAI's new GPT-5.5-Cyber tops Claude Mythos 5 in vulnerability benchmark by Pradeep Viswanathan OpenAI today announced a major expansion of Daybreak, a cybersecurity initiative designed to help defenders find, validate, and fix software vulnerabilities earlier in the development process. The availability of powerful AI models has definitely changed the cybersecurity landscape by making vulnerability discovery much faster. However, the bigger bottleneck for the industry is now patching those vulnerabilities. Impacted software teams need to validate the discovered issues, understand their impact, develop fixes, test them, and deploy patches. Back in March, OpenAI launched a preview of Codex Security, which uses agentic reasoning with automated validation to discover high-impact issues and actionable fixes specific to the codebase. Since then, it has scanned more than 30 million commits across over 30,000 codebases; more than 70,000 findings were marked as fixed by human reviewers, while over 500,000 findings were automatically determined to be fixed. Now, OpenAI is releasing an updated Codex Security plugin that can run deep scans, review recent code changes, generate security reports, trace attack paths, validate findings, and create codebase-specific patches for human review. It can also triage findings from existing scanners, advisories, bug bounty reports, and ticketing systems. OpenAI says the plugin can export results to vulnerability management systems and integrate with workflows using SARIF files, CodeQL queries, the Codex CLI, and the Codex app. Back in May, OpenAI announced the preview of GPT-5.5-Cyber, a new model built on top of the recently released GPT-5.5, designed for specialized cybersecurity work. Today, OpenAI launched the full version of GPT-5.5-Cyber through a limited release for verified defenders. On CyberGym, GPT-5.5-Cyber scored 85.6%, compared with 81.8% for GPT-5.5 and 83.8% for Claude Mythos 5. It also scored 39.5% on ExploitGym, compared with 25.95% for GPT-5.5, and 69.8% on SEC-bench Pro, compared with 63.1%. OpenAI also announced the new Daybreak Cyber Partner Program, which will allow security vendors and service providers to use GPT-5.5 with Trusted Access for Cyber in their products and services. Accenture, Akamai, Cisco, Cloudflare, CrowdStrike, IBM, Palo Alto Networks, Proofpoint, SentinelOne, Wiz, Zscaler, and others were listed as initial partners for this program. OpenAI is also launching Patch the Planet with Trail of Bits, HackerOne, Calif, researchers, and maintainers. More than 30 open-source projects have committed to participate, including cURL, Go, Python, Sigstore, and pyca/cryptography.
    • AMD confirms 26.6.2 FSR driver breaks on many Windows PCs by Sayan Sen Earlier today AMD released a major graphics driver update as it brings support for FSR 4.1 to Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs. The new update, version 26.6.2, also brings support for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced and more. And while the driver technically supports Windows 10 version 21H2 and newer, the tech giant has confirmed that there is a major issue with the new driver on non-Windows 11 PCs as it fails to launch properly on such systems. The error message says, "The version of AMD Software that you have launched is not compatible with your currently installed AMD graphics driver." Therefore on the surface it looks like a compatibility problem. AMD has also confirmed that the device manager will display the yellow bang or yellow exclamation sign alongside your GPU under the Display adapters dropdown. Here is what the Radeon team's official advisory recommends to affected users: "Users Running Windows 10 and AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.6.2 May Encounter Yellow Bang in Device Manager Affecting AMD Radeon RX Series Graphics ... Our Engineers are currently investigating this issue and will provide a fix once it is available. Affected users may revert to AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.6.1 as a temporary workaround." As such you should revert back to the previous 26.6.1 driver which was released earlier this month. In case you were looking to play Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced and DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations you will probably have to wait a while if you want the driver to support those games officially. You can find the support article here on Microsoft's website.
