When Orange is the New Black returns, viewers will be seeing even more of Poussey Washington, played by Samira Wiley.

For the prison dramedy?s third season, Wiley will be promoted to series regular, EW has confirmed. Wiley has appeared on nearly every episode of the show so far ? and fan-favorite Poussey has had an expanded role in season 2.

This means viewers will get more of Taystee and Poussey together, right?

Mary Steenburgen is going to serve time on Orange is the New Black Season 3, Mashable confirms.

Steenburgen, whose most recent TV gigs included parts on Justified and Wilfred, broke the news on Twitter but failed to clarify whether she'd actually be serving time as an inmate, only teasing coyly, "Will I be in orange or black?"

Warden?

Maybe she'll be the new deputy warden.

That might make an interesting storyarc: a fight between her and Caputo for the job. Maybe she's hired an an auditor of the prison or someone to clean up the mess from this seasons finale. She'll certainly have her work cut out for her!

Yael Stone Upped To Regular On ?Orange?

Another heavily recurring on Netflix?s Orange Is the New Black lady has been promoted to regular for Season 3. Yael Stone, who has appeared in virtually every episode of the prison dramedy, will continue to play the chipper, optimistic and psychotic inmate Lorna Morello. She is repped by  Gersh, Andy Corren and Shanahan in Australia.

So when they are promoted to series regulars, their name appears in the opening credits?

Pretty sure it means more than just that. They may already appear in the opening credits as guests, but a season regular would indicate that they'll have more screen time.

I figure it meant they got more screen time (and more money).  Most of the actors that's been promoted to series regulars for season 3 already have a lot of screen time though.  I mean their names will appear during the theme song.  I don't see how they will all fit, unless they are bumping some past regulars to special guest stars.

Now, it?s time to find out which character will get to call her ?mom.?

Ready? Drumroll please?

It?s Pornstache!

Yes, Steenburgen has been given the unfortunate task of loving one of the Netflix comedy?s least lovable characters, TVLine has learned exclusively. But hey, isn?t that what moms are for?

Netflix Calls '######' on 'Orange Is the New Black' Cancellation Rumors

In a world where readers sometimes only scan the headlines to get their news, an Orange Is the New Black hoax posted on a satirical news site fooled many fans of the Netflix series.

The satirical story, which went up on Friday and eventually turned into a social media rumor, claimed Netflix had canceled the production of Season 3 and planned to remove the first two seasons because of the lack of male leads on the show.

Fed up with the rumors, Netflix responded in the best way possible online, stealing the memorable "######" line from OITNB's Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson. Even one of the show's actors, Michael Harney (who plays Sam Healy in the show), chimed in.

    • I always thought the moon gets a lot of impact because there’s no atmosphere, so surely building a moon base is only going to end in disaster?

    • This piece of ###### is probably one of the most hated apps that ever existed.
    • Microsoft is bringing a much-needed Recap app to Teams, here is a first look by Usama Jawad Microsoft Teams is heavily used in work and school environments, and perhaps one of its core but extremely useful features is the ability to record meetings. In past years, Microsoft has further improved upon this functionality by integrating AI, but you do need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license to leverage most, if not all, all of those capabilities. Now, the Redmond tech firm is making another significant enhancement in the area of Teams meeting recordings. Up until now, if you wanted to access Teams recordings, you had to arduously locate the meeting invite and navigate to the dedicated tab, or go to the cloud storage location such as a SharePoint site. This was a rather overwhelming activity, especially if you don't remember the name of the meeting or the meeting occurred quite a while ago. Microsoft is now attempting to solve this problem through a dedicated Recap app that consolidates all your recordings. This centralized experience will allow users to find all recordings from the past 30 days and also offer access to other related services such as transcripts and AI-powered summaries. Customers will have the option to search for recordings, filter them, and review multiple meetings by generating AI-powered podcast-style recaps. The Recap app will list all available recordings in both thumbnail and list views. The former is shown below: And here is how Teams users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license can select multiple recordings to generate a podcast-style audio recap: Microsoft has emphasized that the Recap app is pre-installed in Teams but it will not be pinned by default. Users will able to navigate to the Teams app store from the left rail, and pin it from the apps section. It will be enabled by default for all users once it becomes available. It's worth noting that while Teams recordings and transcripts can be accessed by all users governed by existing permissions, AI-powered features like intelligent summaries, audio recaps, and video recaps will require a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. The Recap app will be generally available to Teams users on Windows, Mac, and the web by the end of next month, with mobile support coming soon.
