Does anyone know what happens if you just show up at a barn?  Can you find it that way or does it have to be "unlocked" in order to give you the car?

Has to be unlocked via the notification.  I've completed the first "Horizon Finale" and still have three barns left unannounced.

Showing up at an unannounced one does nothing.

You will have to do more races and you will be notified when the barn find hint is ready for you.

Maybe try online races, or freeroam cruises, etc.

I dunno... All my barn finds seem to come when I'm just driving around. Maybe they come up when the game thinks nothing else is going on.

I guess the game is using the random stuff for each user.

I got stuff completed this far:

Road discovery: completed

speed traps/zones: completed

bard finds: completed

xp/travel boards: completed

all destinations: completed

First horizon final is completed.

car meet: 5/6   one more to be completed.

Absolutely loving this game! Finished off the first championship last night and there's still a load more things left to do! This is going to be keeping me busy for a very long time.

I know, right?  I have a little time and decide to finish one of the races real quick, but then, what's that?  A barn find?  OK.  Oooh.. let me see if I can beat my time on that speed camera.  Wow, I've never tried this stretch of road with that type of car before...

What race was I going to do?

my latest creation :p. I made the logo

It would be cool if we could start a separate thread where we can share the cars we've designed. I wonder if the mods would mind a new thread.

I dislike the "only one club" rule.

I've left the Neowin club because some 'real life mates' (yeah, i was as shocked as any one!) wanted to team up.

Agreed, wish they let you join up to 3 clubs. It's easy to fix w/ an update, if they want.

Anyone using a racing wheel to play this game?  What would be a good choice at a reasonable price?

I got a steering wheel for Xbox 360 for Christmas... It is stored in the box in the attic..  I tried it and I have not used it much since... I use the controller all the time... no matter what game I play.

I am probably selling it someday to get it outta here...

I'm only on my third championship, have found all the barn finds, and I think I'm a level 56 or something. I like free roaming, acquiring & tuning cars more than racing. Now, I have to get back into the racing with some of my tuned cars :D I like how much game time FH2 offers, it's a great value.

    • Yup, broke my comp… again. its times like this when I regret AMD. This just never happens on NV.
    • Huh? You're delusional calling the Steam Deck dead. It is so successful that it has sold out multiple times. Even after the price hike this year it sold out again with 24 hours of being back in stock. The demand is real and has not died down even after four years.
    • Same place "Unreal III" is, in everyone's thoughts!
    • So how much water is used in that "initial charge" and how often will it need to be recharged?
