Wow! Some of the people here are really angry. Why so much hate? Yes, what the women did was not the best example of her religion, but I still respect the religion and their people. It is easy to get angry at the certain religion due to the activists. But the hate on this thread is: wow. I don't see why this makes everyone so angry. It's annoying, but no reason to attack people.

i don't know why? maybe because the increase of that religion in their own countries is destabilizing the social order. there are no go zones across western europe where native europeans can't go for fear of being attacked. nothing good ever happens where ever islam goes.

Max Krassman: Say goodbye to your frog, pig!
Miss Piggy: Why should I?
Max Krassman: Because in 10 seconds, he won't know *you* from kosher bacon.

Don't know why that suddenly came to me ? saw the movie almost 35 years ago.

while i agree with you, there fellow neowiner who in denials about the no go zones.

It is clear the customer did something other than order Bacon that made him shout what he did, would be interesting to see the before events.  Either way KFC took the customer is always right attitude and suspended the employee

From the video its seems that the customer just asked for bacon and the guy flipped out, hence why the other employee says there is no bacon. Also we don't know if KFC suspended the employee the person who quoted me earlier was clearly making up stuff because he didn't even know what retail chain it happened in.

Out of interest, how many of you are offended by dog-meat restaurants?

If i was in a country that routinely and traditionally eats dog meat then i'd both not be and also have no right to be offended by it.

The amount of western travelers to countries that serve dog meat is huge, but i've never seen any news about them throwing their toys out of the pram about it.

It started with a post from one woman who wrote that the sign was insensitive to those who do not consume pork. She said as a vegan living in a Muslim household she is personally offended by it.

I prefer not to read anything from jihadwatch as it is heavily biased.

The above quote was taken from the source. It did not say that the woman is a Muslim, but living in a Muslim household. Who knows, maybe she is renting a room there and gets food there.

^ On the few occasions where I've spent more than a couple of weeks in another country, I've always made it a point to make sure I'm not doing anything against local laws & customs in public places.  That included, when I lived in Florida for 6 months back in the 80's, letting my neighbours drag me to their local church because, well, everyone went to church!

I didn't kick up a fuss, and I saw no point in telling them I was an atheist.  It cost me nothing to sing a couple of songs, and it made my friends there happy.  They just wanted to include me in their community, and that was nice. :)

^^^ This post should be pinned at the top of the forum for all future and past discussions on similar topics, as it is just so damn spot on

The guy was clearly unfit for a job in fast food. He could have calmly replied that they do not sell bacon.

He's pretty lucky because if he'd tried that in my home town the customer would have leapt the counter and taught him a valuable life lesson.

You need to read the whole story from a better placed source than the one OP posted. The restaurant placed those ads in the woman's neighbourhood, if you read the reports and the Facebook pages there were more from her neighbourhood that objected to the placing of the ad, some of them were patrons of the restaurant.  You do the math.

I guess if she lives in a neighborhood she can dictate what advertising takes place there? Was the ad racist? Sexist? Graphically violent? No. They would all be valid reasons to object, her superstitious view on pork is not.

Just so everyone is clear, this is the offending sign:

That's it. Poor women must have been shaken to the core when she saw this ghastly affront to her world view.

When I lived in China, I would see dog meat in the grocery store fairly often. There's nothing to get offended about. It's a different country/culture.

I lived there on and off for 8 years, and there were plenty of things that I saw that I didn't like. Not once did I throw a hissy fit and demand them to change things to accommodate me. It blows my mind that people have the audacity to do that here, and even more so that we accommodate them instead of telling them to STFU and go back to their country if they don't like the way we do things here.

there should been study to show which group that loves to throw hissy fit, just because it "offend" their superstitious belief,

and i curious other than muslims is there any groups that would rival them?

They need a group to counter ISIS. They can call it PORK. People Opposing Religious Killers.

Capture them and force them to eat bacon.

Do I send you the check?    ;)

I dont eat pork - the sign wouldnt bother me at all - just like a sign for women's hygeine products - it simply doesnt apply to me.

Can you imagine what would happen if some non-muslim went to some muslim country and started complaining ?

Reason # 33495786394578   why I hate [insert group here]

She doesn't say anything in the video, she never calls him a bitch. The muslim guy behind the counter who goes nuts is the one who calls her a bitch.

Its interesting that you have found many reports about how this happened and even one from Subway that says that the customer harassed their employee but they still had to suspend the employee to cover their asses considering this happened in a KFC fast food outlet rather than a Subway...

Not sure why you think Subway is part of the muslim fast food outlets, its actually from the US and so is KFC which is where the video actually took place. (Did you even watch the video?)

Not sure if you bothered to pay attention to video at all because the angry clearly said "who you calling a bitch," I can only assume you have a problem with some who is Muslim or you would not back up the crazy lady who felt the need to record a argument that she started half way.

It is interesting how short sighted you are when there is clearly two sides of the story but media like FOX News felt to report half ass which is typical when it comes from Conservative news.

He says "Don't record me bitch, don't ######ing record me", I think you need to clean out your ears, he never said 'who you calling a bitch'.

The video was never on FOX news, its a video a youtuber posted to their channel when a friend of theirs got harassed by a KFC employee when she asked for bacon on a chicken burger.

Obviously there is always going to be two sides to a story and I'm going to believe the side that has video footage, not the side that gets even angrier when they are being recorded.

    • I like Tidal, but it still does not control devices from the mobile/app and still no surround support. And yeah re: above comment I still get a lot of network errors and I am on a 4/4 Gbit Fiber connection.
    • Aren`t "security features" and "AI model that can see your screen" a tad diametric!
    • Samsung, Amazon extend 990 PRO 2TB NVMe SSD deal beyond Prime Day 2026 by Sayan Sen Recently, we had Amazon's Prime Day 2026 sales wherein there were several great deals including on SSDs. One of those discounted components was the Samsung 990 PRO SSD as the 2TB variant of it was selling for $370, a very good price after a long time. Although that deal was supposed to expire today, Amazon has now extended that sale further (purchase link under the specs table down below). The 990 PRO is a PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD and still one of the fastest drives available today for under $400. Speaking of fast, sequential reads and writes are rated at 7450 MB/s and 6900 MB/s, respectively. The random throughputs for reads and writes are 1400K IOPS and 1550K IOPS, respectively. The 990 PRO is based on Samsung's 7th Gen V-NAND flash, and it too is TLC. It packs 2 gigs of LPDDR4 DRAM cache, which helps the random performance. The endurance rating for this is 1200 TBW (terabytes written), which should be sufficient for most users. The Samsung 990 PRO is compatible with the PlayStation 5, but if you are going to use the 990 PRO on a PC, check out the Samsung Magician app that lets you track your drive's health, update its firmware, customize various settings, and more. The technical specs of the Samsung 990 PRO 2TB are given in the table below: Specification Value Form Factor M.2 2280 Interface PCIe Gen 4.0 x4, NVMe 2.0 NAND Flash Samsung V-NAND TLC Controller Samsung In-house Controller Cache Memory Samsung 2GB Low Power DDR4 SDRAM Sequential Read Speed Up to 7,450 MB/s Sequential Write Speed Up to 6,900 MB/s Random Read (4KB, QD32) Up to 1,400,000 IOPS Random Write (4KB, QD32) Up to 1,550,000 IOPS Random Read (4KB, QD1) Up to 22,000 IOPS Random Write (4KB, QD1) Up to 80,000 IOPS Operating Temperature 0°C to 70°C Reliability (MTBF) 1.5 Million Hours Endurance 1,200 TBW (Total Bytes Written) Get it at the link below: Samsung 990 PRO SSD 2TB NVMe SSD (MZ-V9P2T0B/AM): $369.99 (Sold and Shipped by Amazon US) Good to know This Amazon deal is U.S. specific, and not available in other regions unless specified.
