Danny Zeitz was shot and killed Friday over a PS4. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help his family with funeral costs.

A teen girl shot and killed a man as she and her boyfriend tried to rob the victim of his Playstation 4, police say.

The victim, 28-year-old Daniel John Zeitz of Roswell, Georgia, met up with the couple Friday after posting a Craigslist ad to sell the gaming console. The alleged shooter is an unnamed 16-year-old girl whose 16-month-old baby was sitting in the car, only a few feet away during the robbery, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Sandy Springs police Sgt. Ron Momon told the paper that the suspect and her boyfriend, 20-year-old Nathaniel Vivian, met Zeitz in an apartment parking lot, posing as potential buyers.

The suspects were sitting in their car when Zeitz approached at about 9:30 p.m. Vivian allegedly tried to pull the PS4 into the car. When Zeitz resisted, his girlfriend allegedly pulled the trigger on her .25 caliber handgun, sending a bullet through Vivian's hand and into Zeitz's chest, killing him.

Vivian and the girl were arrested later that night when they went to Northside Hospital to treat Vivian's gunshot wound, police said.

The 16-year-old girl will now be charged as an adult, though her name hasn't yet been released.

I feel terrible about the victim, I recently also sold my PS4 and decided to post it on ebay for a total sale of 350.00 USD.

I have heard many stories of incidents from friends involving craigslist.com.

Anyway I can promise you that both the 16 year old teenage girl and her 20 year old boyfriend come from some really messed up broken homes,Its unfortunate that murders like this cant be avoided because really bad people keep having kids and taking advantage of the welfare system in America.

I believe there should be two mandatory requirements in order to receive help from the U.S government, random drug test and random visits from a social worker at least 4 times a month.

Also, I'm sure it started in school the signs they were both going to be terror to society and I believe when these signs first arrived consequences should be in place such as a mandatory reform program such as bootcamp and military service in combat zones if they want pistols in their hands against our own country men.

With all the discussions about gun laws surly this does the 'rights to bear arms' no good at all.

16 year old girl has a gun for protection but uses it as an offensive weapon.

The one times I have done a transaction on Craiglist I told the people I would only meet in daylight and I also initially suggested my local police departments parking lot.

One person bailed right away, so I knew they were potentially up to something no good.

When I actually did the transaction I then changed the meeting place to a place a place that was A) a very public area that allowed me a quick getaway if needed and B) also had lots of other people, i.e. witnesses. I also insisted it was still in the daytime.

And please people do not get it wrong and try to say I am insinuating that somehow this poor kid deserved to die. Obviously he did not. What I am saying is hopefully others can learn from this tragedy and realize if you are going to set up a transaction with strangers on Craigslist, do it in a way that you protect yourself.

I actually think your local police departments parking lot is a good choice, at least initially.

Why would someone do such a thing...

Unfortunately theres many factors why that begins with their childhood.

One likely factor is they both come from a home with parents that are savages themselves therefore they learned through childhood that violence and terror are tools that can be used to intimidate the nonviolent.

Perhaps they learned this from physical violence among their parents or other family members such as brothers, sisters, cousins, friends displaying unacceptable behavior as something normal.

Another likely factor is child abuse, physical beatings as a child can program an individual to grow up into a violent person.

This is why I am really passionated about America really addressing kids starting out as thugs at a young age because unless its stop then it will only progress into incidents such as this over and over again.

On top of all that, always take a buddy.

AFAIK, 16 year olds aren't allowed to purchase firearms. I think it depends on the state/gun you want but the minimum age for a pistol is actually 21. This either wasn't her gun or it wasn't obtained legally.

A 16 year old carrying a pistol on the street is illegal anywhere.

Shooting one at a range, or hunting with one, while supervised by an adult is another matter.

Federal law is 18 to purchase long firearms (rifle or shotgun) and 21 for handguns, but you can loan a handgun to a younger adult (say, an 18+ year old adult friend or child) for a legal use.

Many states set a possession age on handguns and getting a carry permit at 18 (age of majority.)

"Handgun" covers a lot of territory, ranging from a derringer, revolver or semi-automatic pistol to a semi-automatic MAC-10 or UZI.

I always take my .338 Lapua Magnum with 50x Schmidt & Bender scope and drive 1 mile from predetermined rendezvous location, put person in crosshairs, then call them to tell them to place the money in a small bag I set up the night before.  Then tell them to watch the ground at his/her feet while I put a round in the ground right next to them.  They have to watch because at that distance, it will be a couple seconds before they hear the shot.  Then I setup claymores all around the person's house, then...... I dont know why Im saying all this..

    • A different thing with Russia. When you say is it better, depends on things. It is better that we don't have the E.U making rules and laws that have nothing to do with them. Is the trading part better? No, that is really mucked up, but then we knew that was going to happen and we would have make agreements, like we do with other parts of the world. Freedom of movement is certainly better, but could be improved, we still need more control over our borders. do you live in the U.K?
    • So what am I quoting from them? I never listened to what Farage or his cronies said. I wanted the U.K to leave the E.u years before the referendum and it had nothing to do with Farage and his cronies. So what country do you live in? Did we work much better together? We were always at logger heads with the E.U because we disagreed with them so much. Maggie was always on at them. I would have thought the E.U was glad to get rid of us as we stopped the integration or made it a two tier. Now without us they can integrate more. I would not have voted out if it was just a trading block and we can still work together on somethings.

    • Apple reportedly looks to blacklisted Chinese memory chips as RAM prices climb by Karthik Mudaliar Image via Apple Apple is reportedly trying to get a clearance from the Trump administration to buy memory from ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) to get some relief from soaring DRAM prices. As per a report by the Financial Times, Apple approached the Commerce Department more than a month ago and also spoke to other officials and allies in Washington. For starters, CXMT is a company that's already been placed on the Pentagon's list of Chinese military companies. The Chinese company is the country's top DRAM maker. For Apple, the timing is certainly awkward but not surprising. Tim Cook had recently warned that Apple would have to raise prices because AI companies are buying up large amounts of memory for data centers, and just like that, Apple raised MacBook and iPad prices. Micron also recently revealed that customers have committed billions of dollars to secure memory supply years in advance, which shows us how aggressive securing infrastructure has become. This gives suppliers such as Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron more leverage, while pushing hardware makers to look for alternatives. CXMT is one of those alternatives, but not the simplest one. Apple has spent many years trying to diversify parts of its supply chain away from China, especially for final assembly, while still depending heavily on Chinese manufacturing and suppliers. Even domestic brands from China are moving towards CXMT and YMTC instead of relying on Samsung, Micron, and SK Hynix. For Apple, though, it would invite more scrutiny than local Chinese companies. For now, this is more like a lobbying effort rather than a confirmed supply deal. There's no official statement from either of the parties. What is clearer, though, is the pressure behind such a request. AI demand has certainly made hardware a bottleneck, and companies are trying everything they can to bring things back to normal, even if that means making politically sensitive choices. • I did test it a month or so back, but ... the results I expect to be on the first page are not there.
