Before reporting a bad ad on Neowin, read this..

Your ads have been constantly redirecting me to norton and mcafee offerings, all day, different connections, different computers.

 

US, Windows 10, Edge-Chrome.

Yeah, I've been getting the same one. Sometimes it shows McAfee (same as the Norton ad). Says your subscription is expired or some nonsense.


Can reproduce this ad here: https://www.neowin.net/news/surface-dock-2-will-reportedly-come-with-at-least-two-type-c-ports-listings-spotted

 

It's particularly dangerous as a full page redirect and can't use back buttons to return to Neowin.

On mobile, getting a drawer ad that covers the top of the page.

Which browser are you using? I've just taken a look in Chrome (on Android) and while I see the banner, it isn't overlapping the top bar.

Chrome, Android. It also scrolls with the page like a sticky nav.
