chrisj1968
it's too early to pass bad judgement on 10. I have heard however that people with tablets are having issues or something along those lines. my guess would be that, give it time, Dell will have drivers ready sooner, rather than later. My Toshiba support website doesn't even have Windows 10 drivers of beta yet. greenwizard88
FunkyMike, that did the trick! Thanks a mil. It's not perfect, but it's 80% of the way there. For being a TP, I'll take it. FunkyMike
I could make you a signed driver if you really want : 3. You won't need to do the whole test mode thing. Jose_49
So I checked the driver it simply doesn't have 6.4 unlocked. Open the inf and insert this under: [intelGfx.NTamd64.6.4] %iHSWGT1D% = iHSWD_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0402 %iHSWGT1M% = iHSWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0406 %iHSWGT2D% = iHSWD_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0412 %iHSWGT2M% = iHSWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0416 %iHSWGT15D% = iHSWD_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_041E ; HSW ULT %iHSWGT1UT% = iHSWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0A06 %iHSWGT2UT% = iHSWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0A16 %iHSWGT3UT% = iHSWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0A26 %iHSWGT3UT28W% = iHSWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0A2E %iHSWGT2UX% = iHSWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0A1E %iHSWGT1ULX% = iHSWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0A0E ; HSW CRW %iHSWGT3CW% = iHSWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0D26 %iHSWGT3CWDT% = iHSWD_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0D22 ; HSW Server %iHSWSVGT2% = iHSWD_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_041A ; BDW HW %iBDWULTGT1% = iBDWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1606 %iBDWULXGT1% = iBDWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_160E %iBDWULTGT2% = iBDWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1616 %iBDWULTGT3% = iBDWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1626 %iBDWULXGT2% = iBDWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_161E %iBDWULTGT328W% = iBDWM_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_162B then enable test mode: bcdedit /set {current} TESTSIGNING ON bcdedit /Set {current} loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS and install the driver. I could make you a signed driver if you really want : 3. You won't need to do the whole test mode thing. Awesome! Shall come pretty handy in the future!! I would certainly think that was awesome, if you could whip up a signed driver for. I'm running i5-5200U on the XPS 13 (2015). I previously installed Windows 10 but had the same graphics issues. Whether you have the time to provide a signed driver or not, thanks a lot for the information you provided above on doing this manually! -J Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1245434-dell-xps-13-windows-10/page/2/#findComment-596752208 Share on other sites

My graphics issue is now completely resolved. However, my trackpad is now working poorly just as it did on Windows 8. When I originally upgraded to the Win 10 tech preview, my trackpad began working flawlessly. Now that my display drivers are installed, the trackpad is working choppy again. Any idea how to fix this? Sounds like an interesting issue. I do not have a Dell XPS but I would start by checking the trackpad drivers. Removal / updating to the latest ones etc. Hard to theorize on how the display drivers would affect the trackpad. Maybe someone else is having the same problem? To be honest the Windows touchpad drivers are not as good as the original Synaptics' ones (even they say they worked on that together). The touchpad is not as accurate as I had on my old Sony Vaio Z. The good thing you have the new Windows 10 gestures. I'm curios if it is possible to get rid of Windows drivers and install original Synaptics drivers. Have you guys done that? Is that possible?
