Unforgettable picked up by A&E following CBS cancellation

Unforgettable has been picked up by A&E after CBS failed to renew it for a fourth season.

 

Season four, which is currently withou an air date, will comprise of 13 episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

 

The show follows a female police detective who has hyperthymesia, a rare medical condition that gives her the ability to visually remember everything.

Unforgettable was originally cancelled by CBS after its first season, but was then renewed for a further two seasons.

The show was cancelled by the network for the second time back in October in favour of bigger budget productions including Under the Dome, Extant and James Patterson's upcoming Zoo.

A&E recently picked up new seasons of Bates Motel and The Returned.

It's surprising this series just doesn't want to die!

 

I do like this series and am happy it's coming back for a 4th season, the 3 cast members who aren't coming back is no big loss as far as I am concerned, because they weren't really part of the main cast IMHO.
