The question is...is this all just a delusion in his head and is any of it real? And is his addiction just adding to his delusions of bringing down 'evil corp'? Does Mr. Robot (aka Christian Slater) actually exist or is he just another delusional thought?

After this episode i am 100% certain mr robot does not exist. I am sure because he is Always in the side, and all others are only talking to our main character. Me robot is appering less and less relavant, and always on the background.

Prettty sure the addiction os real and is actually the driving source of delusions.

The addiction is quite real.  Additionally...is he schizophrenic or have Asperger?

Pretty sure he is real because he was talking to the other guys in the hotel room.

If he's not real then it would pretty much be fight club only with computers. Him putting himself through tests like throwing himself off the pier into the rocks, compared to the Narrator burning his hand with lye, etc.

I'd rather they not try to make too many parallels to fight club and do their own thing. So I'm going to assume that he is real.

Everyone is talking to Mr Robot in this episode!

Interesting episode. I enjoyed the social engineering aspect of it at the data centre.

Yeah but people who are in favor of the Fight Club split personality theory will say he is just imagining him there in his place or whatever.

I feel like that would be contrived so I prefer that he's real.

It's a good episode though. It'll be interesting to see where it goes with the chinese hacker group and the guy in jail.

Also I kinda felt from the start that his neighbor/girlfriend Shayla wasn't going to make it out of the first season alive. Which is disappoint because I like her.

Well the good news is the show is getting good again, and he is back to his old hacking awesomeness. Specially with the busting the crim outta jail.

it is a good news, and the episode was indeed nicer.    i am totally optimistic about the show and i am now recommending it to all my friends.

So, yes, Elliot discovers that Mr. Robot looks exactly like his dead father — and is thus almost certainly a figment of his imagination (or else a father who faked his death and learned to retard the aging process, or a hacker who had extreme plastic surgery, or an identical younger cousin of Mr. Alderson)

Yeah, he's most certainly a figment of his imagination, which was something that was honestly expected.

The real twist is Darlene and even more so, the business with Tyrell.

Since we now know Elliot selectively shared the story so far, I expect the next few episodes will reveal what he's been hiding.

Dude, it's kinda pretty clear. The guy didn't age a year, Elliot pushes him out of the window but he's the one that's hurt, they're at his grave near the end of the episode, and Tyrell comes to Elliot after talking to Mr. Robot previously. And Elliot actually says he's Mr. Robot near the end.

Maybe I've watched too many movies and tv shows but I thought it was pretty clear from very early on, i'd say between episode 2 and 3, so the twist wasn't much of one to me, though the 2nd twist, or in this case I guess it's the first one that leads to the other one I expected, was a surprise.

It was clear, what wasn't clear what was the relationship, for me, that was the actual twist, not the fact that he didn't exist.

    • Yup, broke my comp… again. its times like this when I regret AMD. This just never happens on NV.
    • Huh? You're delusional calling the Steam Deck dead. It is so successful that it has sold out multiple times. Even after the price hike this year it sold out again with 24 hours of being back in stock. The demand is real and has not died down even after four years.
    • Same place "Unreal III" is, in everyone's thoughts!
    • So how much water is used in that "initial charge" and how often will it need to be recharged?
