And no, iTunes is not going anywhere. They've just rehauled the Music app from iOS.

Sure, but still. Spotify have reason to be really worried now.

If they make a universal app it may just run on Windows 10 Mobile too.

 

Spotify is still free though. it's also everywhere and has spotify connect. In europe/Scandinavia it already has had good competition from Wimp(the original Norwegian version of Tidal before they also made the international Tidal version and sold it) and despite Wimp having actual editors giving you much better music reccomendations and reviews and higher quality and to some degree better selection, spotify is going strong, though Wimp is also strong here, better than Tidal is doing.

One thing to note: Apple did away with separate development programs for iOS and OS X. There is now just a single developer program for all of their OSs.

Frank, I'd be interested to hear if Metal is improving performance of OS X and apps in general for you.

This is so great. I just renewed my ADC about a month back, for iOS only, and just realized I was going to have to renew the Mac access. But no more.
