it wouldnt let me upload my screen s

KB[numbers go here] = patch

Build [numbers go here] = New build.

You see Build 9926 in lower right hand corner?  If so, you are not on new build unless you have newer version of build installed.

Oh, that's a patch, not an actual new build.

Quillz is right.

any clue as to when we will see any new build of 10? with the leak of the 10009 build apparently, we could use an update build to see how things are coming along.

Update coming next week, but the new build isn't coming until late Feb, according to Twitter.

Anyone ran into this problem and know of a solution? I remember something similar happening on Windows 8 that was specific to one user account...

Tech Preview Build 9926, noticed this a few days ago, shortly after the latest update. Not sure if it was this way before the update or not, unfortunately.

Have you updated everything?

sorry for the late reply, i did update using the built in app. After messing around with the reg I decide to format and clean install, now im unable to make the PIN logging to work :/ I have to type my full password to log, not cool... waiting for the next built hope they fix those weird issues.

Reported the bug already to MS

I had that bug, and I just shut down my computer and then turned it on again.

I gotta say, using Windows 10 b9926... Explorer just feels ancient to use and look at. Hopefully, they can modernize it. It just doesn't fit anymore in the OS the way it is.

How so? I think it looks and works just fine.

    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
    • Windows 95 offered the ability to add and edit the right click menus, on a per file type basis. This feature seems to be missing in the new file explorer. Are they bringing it back as a "new" feature?
    • It's nearly time to replace my aging Founders Edition 3080, it doesn't OC as nicely as it used to and it's running around 10c warmer than it did when I first bought it.  I don't have budget for much more than what I spent on the 3080 and locally, that means the best GPU I can manage is a 9070XT. On this basis I have a few questions: 1. At present I don't use ray tracing, if this was to change, would this GPU be an issue? 2. How does it compare on a performance basis? 3. Are the drivers worse or better than those for nVidia? 4. Linux support, is it there? 5. Anything else I should be aware of if I were to make this change? 6. Is it a good idea or shall I try and keep the 3080 a little longer.
    • What OS is that? It looks a bit like Mac OS but the command line suggests it isn't, either way I like it!
