Rumors say that Windows 10 build 14393 is the RTM build. This can be possible, because the only one known issue will be fixed by a patch delivered via Windows Update. Also, as of this writing, no official statement exist that Insiders will get more builds in near future.

The last time an rtm build was released to insiders, it was not labeled as an insider preview on Windows Update. This one was.

This one as I know it has a minor bug which can be fixed visa a Windows Update. This is not my opinion but that of Windows Blog.

Ha! I was only basing my info on what was in the Windows Blog. Most people are saying it should be 14400. I do not see why it matters they can use any number.

Aww, you are no fun ;)

i dont know know if it's rtm or not. I just suspect it isn't.

There are these little things that still bug me. For example, why doesn't the Photos app have the OneDrive features of being able to search with context (like photos from last year that I sent to David from Hawaii)? Also, Movies and TV doesn't seem to have Taskbar controls. The Right click menus are still overly filled up (needs to use ALT as an advanced modifier like OSX does with the Option key) and why does tablet mode still not have the option to swipe from the edge to switch apps. Another thing thing that bugs me is why does Control Panel still exist and why do apps like Settings need a splash screen? Sure, consistency, but Settings is technically an app to modify things about other apps and the OS, so I think it should be as quick as possible.

Oh and why does the "Close" tooltip still have the old Windows 9X style after 21 freaking years? Ugh they need and entire release to just focus on UX fixes.

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3176925)

Just got the above!

hm I got 14393.0.. where does this .3 come from? this 6925 update you say?

That cumulative update referred to above.

Question - have any of the Insider ISOs allowed a crossgrade (from Core or Home ->Pro, Enterprise, or Education)?  I'm asking because of eligible (feature-wise) portable and AIO PCs that went Home strictly to be cheap (OEM decision).

If you were running Wind 7, 8, 8.1 Pro you will update to Windows 10 Pro. If you want Enterprise , you may have to pay.

You can try the tool below and download an ISO and then see if it will activate. Image your system first!

In my case, I'm talking about an existing Windows 10 PC (non-Insider); the issue is that, despite the Core i3 inside it, the OEM went cheap and loaded Core on it; I'm looking to crossgrade (keeping existing files and settings, but change the SKU to Pro preferably).  Will the ISOs let you do that?

I had the highest brand of Windows 7 and tried that way to go to Pro. It didn't allow for Win 10 Pro. But most tell me I don't need Pro.

Hyper-V requires Pro or Enterprise; it's not supported in Education, Core, or Home.

    • This saddens me greatly
    • Well again I do not mind seeing it charge my stuff if it does it well. "yeah charge my phone like that, charge it good"
    • Getting so tired of this push for that new useless slop over the less-useless old slop that at this point I just want M$ to have this nice, big, hearty cup of *FU*.
    • Brave Browser 1.91.168 by Razvan Serea Brave Browser is a lightning-fast, secure web browser that stands out from the competition with its focus on privacy, security, and speed. With features like HTTPS Everywhere and built-in tracker blocking, Brave keeps your online activities safe from prying eyes. Brave is one of the safest browsers on the market today. It blocks third-party data storage. It protects from browser fingerprinting. And it does all this by default. Speed - Brave is built on Chromium, the same technology that powers Google Chrome, and is optimized for speed, providing a fast and responsive browsing experience. Brave Browser also features Brave Rewards, a system that rewards users with Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) for viewing opt-in ads. This innovative system provides an alternative revenue model for content creators and a way to support the Brave community. SlimBrave Neo takes all the good things about Brave and makes them even better by keeping everything clean, light, and privacy-focused. It removes the extra clutter, turns off features you might not need, and cuts down on anything that could slow you down or collect unnecessary data. Because it relies on simple settings and policies instead of modifying the browser itself, you still get full Brave compatibility—just in a smoother, lighter, and more privacy-friendly package. • Thanks Microsoft but no, I find both iterations of Outlook terrible nowadays and switched back to Thunderbird at home.
