I am on 8.1,I have 27 Gig left on my 100 Gig partition,is there enough room to upgarde too10? As i am a bit worried having to do a clean install.

It does say once you do the upgrade then you will be able to do a clean install

You're cutting it really close, but yes I have made VMs with a hard drive of 25 gigs for Windows 10. A dual boot should be fine.

Thats a good point about space, I just looked and have 26.4gigs free on my C:\ drive (128gig SSD).

 

I want to clean install anyway, however am guessing i'll have to upgrade first to get the licence.
