Got my new 100mbit down 10mbit up yesterday (Virginmedia). Will do a speedtest later when I'm not thrashing the connection :D

I am reaching 12MB/s download from Usenet and Torrents, ~1.2MB/s upload, which is to be expected.

speedtest result is pretty flimsy.

kubuntu torrent download is fluctuating between 2400 - 2800 kbytes/s

bandwidth cap is still the same old 100GB/mo (ugh) but so far they don't enforce it... my usage this month is about 3x that :p

Sorry, but before we even start this, we need to be clear about 'Caps', you say yours is 'unlimited', but is the FUP been enforced on people with high usage? Because it's my understanding that it is. Also, make sure you say 'MB' and not 'Mb'.

Haven't read of any enforcements on the LLU service, and you better inform the majority of ISPs that it's MB, not Mb.
