spenser.d
My ISP (Charter) just upped everyone's speed for free. I'm now running at 20Mbps down and 2.14Mbps up. -Spenser

BoneyardBrew Member Posted April 18, 2010 Member Share Posted April 18, 2010 Verizon FiOS 25/25 I'm extremely happy with the speed and reliablily compared to Optimum. Had their 15/2 plan and would barely get 8/2 most of the time. Plus, all of my services (phone, tv, internet) would randomly go down and I would be stuck without anything in the house. Ditched them as soon as I could.

Carbon Fiber
The servers are all located in the US, this means people outside the US will have a higher ping and jitter which will result in lower results.. I live in Belgium and here are my results, but they are incorrect: Download Speed: 40880 kbps (5110.0 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 10082 kbps ( 1260.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

Dark_ph0enix
First Sunday in a while, where my internet hasn't been crippled - it tends to run fine from 9pm Sunday, until around 9am Saturday, then it dies on its arse for about a day and a half. JanSolo
100 mb fiber connection via Paxio.net. The problem is that I am going over my 802.11g wireless connection so the numbers are not great. But 19.95mb down, 6.68mb up. I think this download speed is more indicative of my typical net connection throughput.
bsquirle
Testing my new ISP: Also, seems like this test doesn't work very well with very fast connections... (Tried running it over a 3*1Gbps link from a datacenter site but got lousy results.)
