Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 10 lets IT administrators manage Windows Server Technical Preview or other Windows Server releases from a remote computer running the full release version of Windows 10. RSAT is used by System Administrators to remotely manage server functionality without having to directly log on to the console session of the server, increasing security in the data centre and allowing servers to be run GUI-less, further reducing the potential attach footprint as well as update management load.

Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 10 includes Server Manager, Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-ins, consoles, Windows PowerShell cmdlets and providers, and command-line tools for managing roles and features that run on Windows Server Technical Preview.

 Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 10 can be used to manage roles and features that are running on Windows Server Technical Preview, with the following exceptions:

  • DHCP Tools. Dhcpmgmt.msc is not available in this release of RSAT, but equivalent Windows PowerShell cmdlets are available.
  • IP Address Management (IPAM) Tools. IPAM tools are not available in this release of RSAT.
  • Network Policy Server Tools. The NPS console is not supported on a Windows client-based operating system, and will be removed from future releases of RSAT.
  • Routing and Remote Access Tools. Routing and Remote Access Tools that are GUI-based cannot be used for remote configuration in this release of RSAT, but the equivalent Windows PowerShell cmdlets are available.

      I do not remember anything happening to Apple and Google for bribing people not to make Apps for Windows Phone. Edge barley has a foot print to matter. If the other browser companies want more of the Pie, they need to do better. I use Brave on all my personal device. However in industry, Edge of default, as we can manage it easier with MS tools.

      On the one hand, it shouldn't be difficult. You buy a computer, you decide what OS you want, which browser etc. Simple enough. But that's the techie side of things. My sister, my mother, wouldn't bother with such a thought. And I'm pretty sure that if you presented a window asking them what to pick they would say, "I don't care! I just want to access my Email!"
