MightyJordan Posted October 15, 2015 Share Posted October 15, 2015 I don't know why, but in Chrome, I can't embed anything into a post on here, now; images, videos, tweets, Facebook posts, etc. The "Insert image from URL" option in the "Insert other media" drop-down menu doesn't work, either. I just tried it in Edge, and it works perfectly fine there; I've cleared the cache and deleted all Neowin cookies in Chrome, too, with no luck, so this one's a mystery to me. MightyJordan Posted October 15, 2015 Author Share Posted October 15, 2015 ...aaaand I think I just discovered which one is the culprit: HTTPS Everywhere; I just disabled it, reloaded the page in regular HTTP and it's working again. Thank you, Woobox. I only grabbed that extension because contests hosted through Woobox weren't loading in Chrome unless the page was HTTPS. Circaflex Posted October 15, 2015 Share Posted October 15, 2015 there are some problems with HTTPs and Chrome on neowin/wordpress websites. Notice in the address bar with HTTPS enabled, you'll get a shield icon stating there are unsafe scripts. If you run those everything should be normal again, but like you when I was on chrome I disabled HTTPs everywhere for neowin and a lot of my issues went away. Now I am on FF and HTTPS everywhere works fine with neowin and wordpress. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
