ChicoCahill
and ray lewis won the defensive player of the year, how do the ravens have both players of the year but have one of the worst playoff records. comped
and jamal wasnt that highly regarded coming out of college and prone to injury but he proved worthy of his draft position.... although chronic injury is still to be decided in such a short experience  Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/127964-jamal-lewis-wins-nfl-offensive-player-of-the-year/#findComment-1538238 Share on other sites
Remote
qiut your bitching. Ray lewis is the best defensive player in the league and when his career is over he will be the greatest defennsive player that ever played the game. Jamal had over2000 yards. Those 2 players are WHY the ravens won 20 games this year. stop hating. GO RAVENS BABY. Ill be on the 50 yard line saturday Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/127964-jamal-lewis-wins-nfl-offensive-player-of-the-year/#findComment-1538587 Share on other sites

Remote
Bah, you know I mistyped 10. Anyway, how can you not say he isnt on the radar for greatest defensive player of all time. Do you ever watch ESPN. Even they say he is. Im from baltimore and I watch every game. He mean the world to the ravens. He is a leader up there with names like brett farve and joe montana. Name one defensive player right now that you this is better then Ray Lewis Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/127964-jamal-lewis-wins-nfl-offensive-player-of-the-year/#findComment-1538765 Share on other sites

BMac
Jamal Lewis had a good year. The stats would support him as offensive player of the year. Also consider the fact that the Ravens have no QB it makes his accomplishment that much better. As for Ray Lewis being the best defensive player that's a joke. The whole defense is great. He's a good player but he is not by any means the best. BMac
I think if the Ravens could get a decent QB to work with the offense they could be an elite team. My only question is who could they possibly get. I don't see too many good QB's going anywhere this off season. Laughing-Man
Looks like Eddie George showed up both Jamal Lewis and Ray Lewis. So much for these so called MVPs. The "supposed" best offensive and deffensive player could not win when it counts. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/127964-jamal-lewis-wins-nfl-offensive-player-of-the-year/#findComment-1550300 Share on other sites

CatnipOligarchy
Jamal Lewis: 14 carries, 35 yards  i guess 2000+ yards and carrying the teams offense all year finally caught up with him. tennessee knew baltimore doesnt have a strong passing attack, so if you shut down lewis, you shut down baltimore Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/127964-jamal-lewis-wins-nfl-offensive-player-of-the-year/#findComment-1550321 Share on other sites

Laughing-Man
Ray Lewis had an excellent game (17 Tackes), but the better team won. I would not call that an excellent game by far. They allowed 165 yards rushing. 88 from George who even dislocated his sholder, who Lewis was supposed to watch.
