and jamal wasnt that highly regarded coming out of college and prone to injury but he proved worthy of his draft position.... although chronic injury is still to be decided in such a short experience :blink:

Jamal Lewis had a good year. The stats would support him as offensive player of the year. Also consider the fact that the Ravens have no QB it makes his accomplishment that much better.

As for Ray Lewis being the best defensive player that's a joke. The whole defense is great. He's a good player but he is not by any means the best.

I think if the Ravens could get a decent QB to work with the offense they could be an elite team. My only question is who could they possibly get. I don't see too many good QB's going anywhere this off season.

i guess 2000+ yards and carrying the teams offense all year finally caught up with him. tennessee knew baltimore doesnt have a strong passing attack, so if you shut down lewis, you shut down baltimore

I would not call that an excellent game by far. They allowed 165 yards rushing. 88 from George who even dislocated his sholder, who Lewis was supposed to watch.

Fine, it was an overstatement. But he still had great numbers. As far as the rushing attack goes, I have no idea what the hell happend
