well thanks guys i kinda like certain things about both of yours.

Mike,

It's not easy to try and interpret someone elses idea of "clean" as you can imagine. But I had a go and came out with this...

mikecoz.png

This is the png version to preserve bandwidth but I have a sharper JPEG version if you want to run with it.

Drop me a PM.

hey SniperX thats pretty cool!

is there any way i can get a version without any lighting (although it is cool) or text (i'll add it myself later)

also can you make the image smaller like the size of my sig now?

maybe even a psd? so i can see what you did and maybe change the colors to my liking

Jmann:

Yeah that web logo looks really good. I will play with it and see what I can do. If you come up with any changes to it, let me know. What would it look like if the tekngn.net was on the left? Can you try an alternate version?

SniperX:

Nice signature graphic! I like the stripe effect!

heres my try at fading the ends. all i did was add a mask and gradiated the lightning. Seems to work pretty well, wouldnt mind if anyone had a better way, but this is very simple.

My tips are:

1. Change the layer blending options.

2. Add a black to transparent gradient across the image on a new layer and then play with that layer's blending styles. :-)

It doesn't make that much of a difference to me, but i find that a difference layer blend on a black layer with 21% opacity over the lightning works really well. And one more question, what exactly does difference clouds do? I dont really get how it gets it shapes except that it somehow uses the contrast of them.

And one more question, what exactly does difference clouds do? I dont really get how it gets it shapes except that it somehow uses the contrast of them.

From the help file:

Uses randomly generated values that vary between the foreground and back-ground color to produce a cloud pattern. The filter blends the cloud data with the existing pixels in the same way that the Difference mode blends colors. The first time you choose this filter, portions of the image are inverted in a cloud pattern. Applying the filter several times creates rib and vein patterns that resemble a marble texture. When you apply the Difference Clouds filter, the image data on the active layer is replaced.

It also adds new cleaners (including a DNS cache cleaner, Claude Code, and Visual Studio Code forks), support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles, new deep scan options for developer directories like node_modules and venv, and safer, faster file shredding. All Platforms Added cleaners for Claude Code, DNS cache, and many Visual Studio Code forks. Added support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles. Chrome can now clean downloaded AI models. File shredding is safer, faster, and leaves fewer recoverable traces. Improved handling of cookies, symlinks, Unicode filenames, external processes, and configuration files. Improved Expert Mode warnings and long warning dialogs. Fixed crashes related to cleaner detection, invalid Unicode, and malformed cleaner data. • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
