How to check which Samsung SM-G935F (S7 Edge) variant I have?

Recommended Posts

I am trying to register my phone onto Samsung's website but there are a ridiculous amount of variants of the SM-G935F.

About > Settings only appears to show "SM-G935F".

Any ideas?

I could be wrong, but I think the exact model is also shown under settings (which settings I'm not sure, could be device) but it's been a while since I've messed with sgphones

I think OP said that, unless there is a device info tab maybe that would have it

wasn't there a variant number buried in there too? (I think there was when I had an s3, but since then I've never had a Samsung phone.. (I know they changed the way the settings are displayed now)

You got to it before I could edit, the quotes system still takes some getting used it, I wanted to include what he said and my reply, but i think on the s3 there was a variant, but werent there only like 3 or 4 of those? OPs list has so many, but I know the label on the box should provide this, the same label with the esn/serial

I believe the label on the box will give you the exact model.

Nope, nothing on the box and nothing in Settings apart from "SM-G935F".

EDIT: The SamMobile Device Info app on the Play Store found it for me.

I'm sure you're just overlooking it, the model is definitely on the white label on the box.

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools.
