restroom and BinaryData - a similar ad to these has been flagged up. Hopefully this should be resolved shortly. :)

Pls I'm innocent. :( Out of interest, were you logged-in when you saw the inline pop-up? and was it on the front page or the forums?

I'm always logged in, I just opened a new tab with my ad blocker disabled for testing and it popped up. Usually doesn't happen. I try to not block ads for Neowin, but they can get obnoxious. Like ones that talk to you. God, those are FREAKING annoying. Left a page open on a site (not neowin), and I left my Greasemonkey script running for refreshes. Got an Adam & Eve Viagra style ad. Which talked to you. Yup. Never leaving my desktop speakers as the primary sound.

Ah, alright. Yep, it is flagged. If you notice any like that - be it talking ones, videos, pop-ups, etc, report them here. Steve really doesn't want ads like that - and neither does anyone else. A screenshot and, if you can, Inspect Element on the ad, then copy the element and paste it here. That helps track down the exact ad.

If I can remember too. I let ads run on my FireFox for Neowin, but generally it's blocked. I'm a bit nervous about the XSS Errors that keep popping up on FireFox. XSS is something that I'm wary off.

Jack, by chance do you have a daughter/sister or cousin named Abby Wilkinson? Random, I know.

Not that I'm aware of? :p

What are the XSS errors you're seeing? If you can show them here then one of the devs can surely look into it.

Ahhh. Used to date a girl online with that name. Would've crazy as hell if you were related. She was a crazy British blonde girl. Her mom scared me more.

Anyways, I'll post them when they pop up.

Haha, well as far as I know, I don't even know anyone by that name. :p Think we're all good. :)

I must say yesterday i was navigating into a front page news and an ad overexposed the news (it navigated away from the site into a new one); found that weird so i reload the page, only to happen again (back button didn't help either).

Had to install ublock origin just to be able to use the site :/

Using firefox on Android 6.0

Would you be able to temporarily disable it and see if you still get the ad? Then provide the URL it goes too, and if possible, a screenshot. That will help get the ad removed.

And advertisers wonder why people install ad blockers.... !!!

I don't think they wonder at all. They know exactly why.

Dammit.. yes I have reported this. It is coming through a tag reserved for members where it shouldn't happen :/ I am not a fan of this sort of campaigning anyway and I don't remember OKing it (also noted in the report).

Got it again just now on the front page, then about a minute later on the main forums page.

Its a bit annoying when you go to click on a forum section and end up clicking the AD instead. I appreciate this isn't Neowins fault though.

The good news is that our main ad partner is not delivering these ads, it is coming from our passback, which is a different company. I have emailed them.

This is why it's easier for me to track if I can also get the inspect part of the page that is displaying the ad. (open dev tool in browser, click Inspect and then screenshot or copy the part which is highlighting the ad (html)) - this does not show in 'View page source" and needs to be done through Inspector dev tools.
