You seem rather upset today Gary, bringing your frustrations into this thread now? Awesome.

Well I was going to thank you for trying to help but then you had to start your belittlement. Not everyone is an IT person, not everyone is as smart as you. Maybe you should have figured out that after Chris1968 left..

The nicest way I can put this, grow thicker skin. It isn't rocket science is a commonly used phrase, if you took that as belittling that is on you. You've been around the block enough, how many reloads on insider builds have you done? How did you migrate your data during those times? I offered the two known solutions. Not sure why you keep bringing up Chris, you have another agenda with me. Shocker, like I told you before, some users on Neowin do still converse with Chris, maybe you just arent part of his group? I dunno, but he's still lurking. Give it a rest with that already Gary, you are starting to sound senile.

And you are sounding exactly what you are. Chris had PTSD but that made zero difference to you. He suffered to defend this country and you so you can make fun of Brave men and women that fought for this country. You called him names this cannot be denied and now you call me senile , you are one piece of work. You probably make fun of cripples and the handicapped as well. You call me senile and with the same breath you say I need a thicker skin?? Maybe you need a soul and some understanding of the way that life works. I have no agenda with Chris, I do however have a problem with people like you that make fun of Vets with PTSD.

Youve now made this some sort of personal thing. You wont find one single post of mine making fun of a vet or someone with PTSD. Try again gary.

You sure I am the bad guy here? Seems to me, you pointed out his PTSD and how hes a real piece of work.

PTSD does not excuse lack of knowledge or repeating the same errors over and over. I'm sorry he has it but it's not something to hide behind whenever something doesn't go your way. That in itself makes  a mockery of vets with it.

Have you ever had it? I have and it is no fun. He cannot help the way he is you and Ciraflex can.  I am not hiding behind anything. I come out and speak what is on my mind.

This issue has been solved.

@Gary7, just ignore, and know that some understand what you are saying. Some people will always be right. I put contracted IT guys with the always right attitude in there place all the time a work. Anyhow, having family members in jobs such as LE, retired Veterans, and having been in myself now for 20 years, I know PTSD is not as simple as these Doctors here on Neowin make it out to be. I must say though, it is nice to know we have licensed IT Specialists/Doctors here on Neowin.

Yeah and when you do speak your mind, you lash out for no reason. Did you forget this morning? You look for an excuse in everything.

I'd love to hear your credible opinion on how ptsd is rested to lack of knowledge and repetitive errors. Pretty sure it does not. People around here look for an excuse for everything.

I lashed out on no one this morning as you do with about 97% of your posts/Do me a favor and just ignore me or leave me the hell alone.

Firefox Sync or import/export, it isnt rocket science.

This kind of toxic attitude is what chases good members away, keeps some members from posting questions, and gives IT Guys a bad name. There is simply ZERO reason to tell another member, "it isn't rocket science." It is very simple to help others, without belittling them. It is often startling to think that some of you all actually deal with the public day in, and day out. Unfreakinbelievable!

Would you like me to post a link to it and prove it to you? Or did you forget?

It isn't rocket science to see your passive-aggressiveness.

To 97% of your posts, no it is not necessary.

Deflect all you want. You are no better than those you chastise. Would you like me to post the example from this morning? Or are you going to deny it again?

LOL.

There is nothing wrong with that. You Judged me and I called you on it. I never said it was a mobile Wallet, you should have know sine I said it was in IE. and it was. I did not call you senile or any kind of name...I did not belittle you in any way.

See, this is why you have problems here. I didn't judge you. I answered your post with a single word: "No".  That is not judging, yet you lashed out and then later took it back. Now you are restating your position of me being judgy? Good grief. You know how that sounds, right?

This is not a texting forum. a one word answer is not acceptable. You have to go through the entire thread.

Personally, I would go into the main Firefox profile folder under %APPDATA%, manually backup the bookmark, cookie and the two files that hold the encrypted login details, clear out all other files except the aforementioned files, then start Firefox bup. It'd be a new profile with the bookmarks, cookies and logins maintained.

    • I wonder how many are laid off for cost savings, and this being blamed on AI to make it sound less scary and bad, for a more positive "modern, with the times" spin for investors? Because Oracle is down 14% the past year. We're looking at a company struggling here. If AI would actually be working out so well for them that they can do massive layoffs, surely this would've been reflected the past year in their stock value?
    • AI is the beginning, wait until real robots replace more jobs, specifically jobs that require physical work.
    • AI is indeed eliminating jobs, and Oracle just proved it by Hamid Ganji There’s no question that AI has become the hottest trend in workplaces, and every company is trying to adopt AI-driven solutions across its operations. While some industry leaders repeatedly say AI won’t lead to massive layoffs, recent data suggest that AI is actually one of the main reasons some companies are reducing their workforce. According to Oracle’s annual regulatory filing, the company has laid off about 21,000 employees, or 13% of its workforce, amid increasing AI adoption. “The adoption and deployment of AI technologies across our operations have resulted, and may continue to result, in reductions to our workforce,” Oracle said in the filing. The software giant now has approximately 141,000 full-time employees, a notable decrease from 162,000 during the same period last year. Restructuring expenses, including severance payments, cost Oracle $1.84 billion in fiscal 2026. Additionally, around 49,000 Oracle employees were based in the U.S., while approximately 92,000 were employed internationally. Like many other companies, Oracle has fully embraced AI and concentrated much of its efforts on the technology. The company is also a key participant in the United States’ $500 billion Stargate Project, which aims to build multiple AI data centers across the country. When it comes to AI adoption and its impact on the workforce, opinions remain divided. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, whose company has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the AI boom, recently said in an interview that attributing job cuts to AI is a “lazy” narrative. “The narrative that connects AI to job loss, for many of the CEOs that are doing it – it is just too lazy. AI has just arrived, how is it possible they're already losing jobs?” Huang said. However, statistics and recent reports tell a different story. According to Layoffs.fyi, 196 tech companies have laid off about 119,800 employees so far this year. Reducing staff and replacing roles with AI agents could become one of the most significant trends in the job market in the years ahead.
