You seem rather upset today Gary, bringing your frustrations into this thread now? Awesome.

Well I was going to thank you for trying to help but then you had to start your belittlement. Not everyone is an IT person, not everyone is as smart as you. Maybe you should have figured out that after Chris1968 left..

The nicest way I can put this, grow thicker skin. It isn't rocket science is a commonly used phrase, if you took that as belittling that is on you. You've been around the block enough, how many reloads on insider builds have you done? How did you migrate your data during those times? I offered the two known solutions. Not sure why you keep bringing up Chris, you have another agenda with me. Shocker, like I told you before, some users on Neowin do still converse with Chris, maybe you just arent part of his group? I dunno, but he's still lurking. Give it a rest with that already Gary, you are starting to sound senile.

And you are sounding exactly what you are. Chris had PTSD but that made zero difference to you. He suffered to defend this country and you so you can make fun of Brave men and women that fought for this country. You called him names this cannot be denied and now you call me senile , you are one piece of work. You probably make fun of cripples and the handicapped as well. You call me senile and with the same breath you say I need a thicker skin?? Maybe you need a soul and some understanding of the way that life works. I have no agenda with Chris, I do however have a problem with people like you that make fun of Vets with PTSD.

Youve now made this some sort of personal thing. You wont find one single post of mine making fun of a vet or someone with PTSD. Try again gary.

You sure I am the bad guy here? Seems to me, you pointed out his PTSD and how hes a real piece of work.

PTSD does not excuse lack of knowledge or repeating the same errors over and over. I'm sorry he has it but it's not something to hide behind whenever something doesn't go your way. That in itself makes  a mockery of vets with it.

Have you ever had it? I have and it is no fun. He cannot help the way he is you and Ciraflex can.  I am not hiding behind anything. I come out and speak what is on my mind.

This issue has been solved.

@Gary7, just ignore, and know that some understand what you are saying. Some people will always be right. I put contracted IT guys with the always right attitude in there place all the time a work. Anyhow, having family members in jobs such as LE, retired Veterans, and having been in myself now for 20 years, I know PTSD is not as simple as these Doctors here on Neowin make it out to be. I must say though, it is nice to know we have licensed IT Specialists/Doctors here on Neowin.

Yeah and when you do speak your mind, you lash out for no reason. Did you forget this morning? You look for an excuse in everything.

I'd love to hear your credible opinion on how ptsd is rested to lack of knowledge and repetitive errors. Pretty sure it does not. People around here look for an excuse for everything.

I lashed out on no one this morning as you do with about 97% of your posts/Do me a favor and just ignore me or leave me the hell alone.

Firefox Sync or import/export, it isnt rocket science.

This kind of toxic attitude is what chases good members away, keeps some members from posting questions, and gives IT Guys a bad name. There is simply ZERO reason to tell another member, "it isn't rocket science." It is very simple to help others, without belittling them. It is often startling to think that some of you all actually deal with the public day in, and day out. Unfreakinbelievable!

Would you like me to post a link to it and prove it to you? Or did you forget?

It isn't rocket science to see your passive-aggressiveness.

To 97% of your posts, no it is not necessary.

Deflect all you want. You are no better than those you chastise. Would you like me to post the example from this morning? Or are you going to deny it again?

See, this is why you have problems here. I didn't judge you. I answered your post with a single word: "No".  That is not judging, yet you lashed out and then later took it back. Now you are restating your position of me being judgy? Good grief. You know how that sounds, right?

This is not a texting forum. a one word answer is not acceptable. You have to go through the entire thread.

Personally, I would go into the main Firefox profile folder under %APPDATA%, manually backup the bookmark, cookie and the two files that hold the encrypted login details, clear out all other files except the aforementioned files, then start Firefox bup. It'd be a new profile with the bookmarks, cookies and logins maintained.

    • Anthropic introduces Claude Tag, a new AI teammate for Slack by Fiza Ali Anthropic has announced Claude Tag, a new feature that lets teams work with Claude directly inside Slack. The idea is simple: once Claude is added to a Slack workspace and given access to selected channels, users can tag @Claude in conversations and assign tasks. Claude can then work through those requests using connected tools and data sources before posting its results back into a Slack thread. What makes Claude Tag different from a typical chatbot is that it's designed to operate as a shared assistant for an entire team rather than a single user. Everyone in a channel interacts with the same Claude instance. This allows the team members to see ongoing work and continue tasks started by others. Furthermore, Anthropic says the AI can build context over time by following conversations in channels where it has permission to operate. This means users don't have to repeatedly provide the same background information for every request. The system is also designed for asynchronous work. Instead of waiting for responses in a chat window, users can assign a task to Claude and return later once the work is complete. Anthropic says Claude can break larger requests into multiple steps and use connected tools to complete them. Moreover, the system can also schedule follow-up tasks and continue working on projects over extended periods. Another feature allows Claude to keep the users updated and follow up on unresolved tasks when its optional "ambient" mode is enabled. The company says the tool is already being used internally for software development, data analysis, support workflows, and debugging. According to Anthropic, around 65% of its product team's code is now generated through its internal version of Claude Tag. For organisations concerned about security, administrators can control which channels, tools, and data sources Claude can access. Separate Claude instances can also be configured for different departments, helping keep information isolated between teams. Administrators can also monitor activity logs, review completed tasks, and set spending limits at both the organisation and channel level. Claude Tag is now available in beta for Claude Enterprise and Claude Team customers and runs on Claude Opus 4.8 that was announced this May. The feature will also replace Anthropic's existing Claude in Slack application, with current users able to migrate within a 30-day migration window. Lastly, eligible customers will receive introductory credits to help teams evaluate the new experience.
    • Beats Studio Pro wireless over-ear ANC headphones drop to their lowest price yet by Fiza Ali Amazon is currently offering the Beats Studio Pro headphones at their all-time low price. The Studio Pro use 40mm active drivers which are designed to improve clarity and reduce distortion compared to previous models, with up to an 80% improvement over the Beats Studio3 Wireless. A built-in digital processor adjusts frequency response to keep the sound balanced rather than overly boosted in any one area. Furthermore, the headphones support personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking as well as Dolby Atmos playback on supported content. Moreover, built-in voice-targeting microphones improve call quality. You can also switch between three sound profiles including Beats Signature for balanced music playback, Entertainment for films and gaming, and Conversation for clearer voice in calls and podcasts. Physically, they are designed to be worn for long periods without feeling heavy or awkward. The ear cushions use UltraPlush engineered leather while metal sliders allow you to adjust the fit. On the connectivity side, the Studio Pro use Class 1 Bluetooth for a stable, long-range wireless connection. There is also a 3.5mm input if you want to plug in directly, including use with in-flight entertainment systems. Controls are located on the headphones and include a "b" button for music and call control, a volume rocker, and a multifunction button used for switching listening modes, EQ settings, power, and pairing. On Apple devices, they support one-touch pairing with iCloud-linked devices, hands-free Siri access, Find My tracking based on last connected location, and automatic software updates. On Android devices, they support Google Fast Pair, Audio Switch between compatible devices, and Google Find My Device tracking, with additional features available through the Beats app. When it comes to the battery performance, it is rated at up to 40 hours of listening time with ANC turned off, and up to 24 hours with ANC or Transparency mode enabled. A 10-minute Fast Fuel charge should provide up to 4 hours of playback. Finally, the headphones use a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and charge via USB-C.
