Pizza Hut introduces new wearable 'Pie Tops' that can order pizza with a press of a button

Pizza Hut has commissioned 64 pairs of sneakers dubbed Pie Tops that can order pizza at the press of a button. The sneakers were created as part of its celebration of becoming a NCAA sponsor.

There are a lot of wearables available these days, but a set of high tops that can order pizza? That's a rare gem that comes numbered at just 64 pairs. Pizza Hut has unveiled its latest commercial with former NBA player Grant Hill that features the aforementioned sneakers being dubbed the 'Pie Tops'.

While the sneakers might seem a bit like Hollywood magic, Pizza Hut has actually commissioned 64 pairs of them from the "Shoe Surgeon" to celebrate the company's first year as pizza sponsor of the NCAA. The sneakers are functional, utilizing Bluetooth and geolocation, to get wearers their pizza with the press of a button.

Although there are 64 pairs to go around, Pizza Hut will not be offering the sneakers up for public sale as disclaimed towards the bottom of the 'All Access' website.
