jnelsoninjax
CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - A group of construction workers took matters into their own hands when dealing with an alleged thief Wednesday afternoon in uptown Charlotte. The incident happened about 3:40 p.m. at 229 N. Church Street, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police. A FOX 46 Charlotte viewer stumbled upon the scene and says the crew was working on the corner of Church Street and W. 6th Street when the man tried to break into one of their construction vehicles. The group of workers from Baker Roofing caught the man, taped and tied him to scaffolding until officer arrived. No word yet on charges, but it's likely the man will think twice before trying to steal from this crew again. Source+Videos DocM 1 Share
